[CCHS-2008] Guidance department liaison

*Welcome to Junior year, Parents*!
 
I contacted you last winter and am now writing to re-introduce myself. 
I'm Kathy Schweer, Parker Schweer's mom.  I serve as the Guidance 
Department liaison for the Class of 2008.  This means that I'm a junior 
class parent who is here to be a sounding board for any concerns or 
needs that the 2008 parents have regarding the college process and the 
guidance department. The guidance department felt that this would 
improve their communication with parents and help the team have a better 
understanding of what we need as we travel along the road of college 
application and acceptance. I have a son who is currently a senior at 
Wake Forest University, so I've been down this road before.  Please feel 
free to contact me with questions; although please understand, I'm not 
taking the place of your child's counselor. Also, please note that we 
have a *Junior Post-Secondary planning meeting on Wednesday, October 4 
at 7:30 p.m. in the CCHS cafeteria*.
