[CCHS-2008] Senior Portrait

Hello Parents and students of the 2008 Senior CCHS class!

The first due dates for yearbook are rapidly approaching. If you have not
yet called Anderson Photo to schedule an appointment for a senior
portrait, please do so for this week or early next week at 978-369-9530.
The FIRM DEADLINE SET BY PUBLISHER is September 7th - the second day of
school! All you need to do is sit for the portrait - Anderson Photo
submits the photos to us in proper format. :) 

Also, parent ads and student-to-student ads are due September 7 and 14th
as well. We need them early to send to the publisher and to know how many
pages we have. These dates are somewhat more flexible, you can send them
after the Sept 7th and 14th deadlines, but there is a $30 extra fee for
missing the first deadline. PLEASE try to get these in for the first
deadlines - it helps us out immensely and saves you the $30 fee as well! 

The parent ad form (which can also be used for student-to-student ads) is
attached, as well as a list of all yearbook due dates.

Attached please find an order form for parent ads for the 2008 yearbook.
Parent ads are due by September 7th. This same attached order form can
also be used by students who would like to place an ad in the yearbook to
their friends. These are sometimes called “student ads” or “student
collages”. These student-sent ads are due by Friday September 14th. 

Yearbook Due Dates (take a moment to write into your planner/calendar!) 

Due Friday September 7th, 2007
·	Senior Portraits (contact Anderson photo 978-369-9530 for an
appointment. Anderson Photo will submit these directly to us, 
	you don’t have to submit them, just go get them taken!) 
·	Parent Ads (form attached!) 

Due Friday September 14, 2007
·	Student ads/collages (you can use the same parent ad form attached to
order) 
·	Baby Pictures and write ups (a form for a 550 character write up will be
handed out during 1st September homeroom) 

Due Friday September 21st 2007
·	Senior summer pictures (simply fun pictures from your summer you send in
for this spread!) 
·	Remember When (Any younger photos – pre-school, elementary, middle, and
early high school photos you want to include!) 
·	Junior Prom/Sophomore Semi (don’t forget to include pictures of these
special nights!)

If you are unsure about what parent ads look like or what is typically
included in any of the above mentioned pages, or simply need some
inspiration on what to include, please take a look at a 2007 yearbook! If
your student doesn’t have one, there are some at the high school you can
browse through.  

You can send in digital images on a CD (please write students name on the
CD!), and hard copy images in an envelope (write student names on the back
so we can return them to you in the spring!). Simply include your CD of
digital photos in your envelope of hard copy photos if sending in a mix of
both. Digital images need to be AT LEAST 300dpi in quality. Hard copy
photos need to be quality copies (on photo paper) and at least 3inches x
2inches in size. For your ad, you can also include a sketch or mock-up of
how you would like your ad to be designed from the photos you send in, or
you can simply have us do it for you! If its easier for you, feel free to
send in photos for all pages all together before the first due date,
noting which photos are for which pages. 

For ordering a Yearbook itself, you will be sent an order form from the
publisher, Herff Jones, about how to place an order online or via mail,
directly to them. Yearbook orders will be due by Friday, November 30th,
