Apologies for inundating you with information, but it's all worth noting

Reminder to parent volunteers - you must have a CORI (Criminal Offender
Registry Investigation) form on file in order to volunteer at CCHS. CORI
forms are valid for 3 years, so you are all set if you have submitted one
within that time frame to the Concord or Carlisle Public Schools. Otherwise
please come in and see Louise Coleman or Art Dulong (Monday-Friday, 8-4) to
submit a form or complete and submit a form on Back-to-School Night,
September 26. Please note that the school is now required to check your
picture ID when you submit the form.

On Saturday, September 17, from 7-10:30 P.M., the CCHS Classes of 2008 and
2009 are invited to the first CCHS dance of the year! Here are the details:
         Who: Freshman and Sophomores only
Where: CCHS Cafeteria from 7-10:30 P.M.
Cost: $10.00 - Tickets must be purchased in advance during lunch
blocks on Sept 14, 15, 16. No ticket sales at the door.
         Dress: Casual
         Refreshments available
Parents, we still need a lot more parent chaperones. Without chaperones
there will not be a dance. Please consider volunteering as a chaperone,
even if it’s just for a couple of hours. If you can help out, please email
or call Kathy DeMarco at <mailto:dahldemarco at aol.com>dahldemarco at aol.com or
(978) 371-5680. Thanks!

Make sure Monday, September 26, Back to School Night, is on your
calendar. This is an opportunity to learn about your student's daily
routine and meet the people they are going to spend their year with. The
Freshman Class will also be selling CCHS clothing in the cafeteria. The
CCHS T-shirts ($10), muscle shirts ($10) and flannel pants ($20) are very
popular with kids and adults - think about doing your birthday and holiday
gift shopping early this year! We still need both parent and student
volunteers to help with the clothing concession. Parents, please volunteer
to help during your open blocks by emailing Patty Hecht at:
patricia.hecht at verizon.net. Thanks, Patty, for organizing this first
fundraiser for the Class of 2009!

On Friday night, September 30 at 6 P.M., the Class of 2009 and their
families are invited to a Tailgate Party prior to the Acton/Boxboro
game. Please bring lawn chairs and drinks for your family. This is a pot
luck style dinner. Families with last names from A to D please bring a
salad that serves 8-10. Families with last names from E to P please bring
a main dish that serves 8-10 (finger sandwiches, pizza, etc.). Families
with last names from P on please bring any type of cookie or bar
dessert. Please bring dishes on disposable plates. Any questions please
e-mail Maureen Tarca at <mailto:mqtarc at aol.com>mqtarc at aol.com or Deb Hankey
at <mailto:Deb at thehankeys.com>Deb at thehankeys.com. Hope to see you there.
