[CCHS-2009] Update: CCHS 2009 Events

Dear Freshmen Parents,

Class Trip to Six Flags

Remind your student to save the date - Saturday, April 29 - for the 
freshman class trip to Six
Flags. More information will follow!

Sophomore Semi

The sophomore parents are requesting 4-6 freshmen parents to help with the 
refreshment table at the Sophomore Semi on April 29 at the high school. 
This is a relatively new tradition. The times would be 6:00 to 10:30. There 
could be a few shifts. Please let me know at

Freshmen Dance on April 7

The April 7 freshmen dance was uneventful which is a good thing. There were 
85 freshmen in attendance listening to the music provided by our own CCHS 
DJ-Matt Cronin. A special thank you to Lisa Betancourt, Tom Bjornson, 
Pattie and Don Driscoll, Aliza Edwards, Kevin Feeney, Kathy and Chris 
Robey, Phil Sarrtori, Ann Slocum, and Lynn and Steve Pressley for so 
graciously chaperoning the dance. All were impressed by the positive 
behavior of these kids.

Also thank you to Deb Hankey, Lynn Pressley, Diane Sneider, Ellen 
Quackenbush, Sara Newton, Marie Nolet, Annamaria Nelms, Denise Webster, Pat 
Brewer, Nancy Birchard, Diane George, Stina Bradley, Aliza Edwards, Audrey 
Trieschman, Ann Slocum, Joan Darcy,  Caroline Seele, Tricia Basque, and 
Linsey Bynes for supplying baked goods and snacks. You are all very 
generous. There are enough snacks to take us through any of our next 
events-anything we have let over will be donated to the senior class all 
night party.

Also, thank to Karen Verrill for making that run to Costco and getting all 
those drinks.

A very appreciative thank you goes to Officer Scott who made many trips to 
the Elks to have presence.

And last but not least, thanks to Claudia, organizer and communicator par 
excellence!

Future Events

The Freshmen Class will host a senior citizen spring party on May 7-there 
will be a request for help with refreshments as well as encouragement to 
your kids to attend.
