The class of 2009 is sponsoring a Halloween Carnival on Sunday October 29
from 1:00 to 4:00. The carnival is designed to attract elementary kids with
the hope of providing activity as well as raising some funds.
They need our help:
· Need 50 cakes for a cake walk
· 6 Dozen candy apples to sell
· 6 Dozen apples for bobbing
· 6 parents (welcome some dads) to help set up and be a support for
them
If you can help with any of the above, please e-mail
<mailto:Claudia.feeney at sanofi-aventis.com>Claudia.feeney at sanofi-aventis.com
with what you would like to offer.
Another great need is to please encourage your kids to get involved with
the class-the goal is to have as many kids as possible get involved as a
class. Is your child an artist-they need face painters-do they like to run
games they need kids to run the sack races-an actor-they need someone to
dress as a witch and run one of the games? A successful event has many
hands working together.
Just a note to inform those who might not be aware-the class raises money
throughout their 4 years for a variety of things for example:
* Covering cost of the senior citizen events-Freshmen and sophomore
year the Spring Fling, junior year-the Thanksgiving luncheon, senior year
the St. Patricks Day luncheon
* Sophomores hold a reception for the junior class before their prom
* Next year: Buses to the junior prom -pending on how much we have
reduces cost of prom tickets
* Senior Year;
* Senior class-teachers tea-students many times use this forum to
ask for recommendations
* Senior class hosts a faculty appreciation dinner
* Senior barbecue
* Senior class gift
* Help with cost of prom tickets
* Covering cost of the senior citizen events-Freshmen and sophomore
year the Spring Fling, junior year-the Thanksgiving luncheon, senior year
the St. Patricks Day luncheon
Thanks for all your support-the kids really do appreciate it!
