[CCHS-2009] NEWS UPDATE

Happy New Year,

Thanks again to all you have supported the class of 2009. The second half 
of the year will bring more activities where your help will be appreciated.

The sophomore class officers- Mady Bilodeau, Sam Dweck, Olivia Arnow and 
Kim Swain with the support of their teacher advisors Ray Pavlik and Brian 
Miller have been moving forward on many projects such as the goodie bags 
for mid term week, a movie night, and possible all school dance on March 15 
as well as a Outside Spring event on May 19. Congratulations on their 
efforts as well as getting more class members involved in class activities.

Parental help will be appreciated at the class of 2009 Senior Citizen Event 
on April 29. Please e-mail Claudia  at

if you would like to help with this most worthwhile event. Thanks to Trica 
Reed and Tracey Bird for already offering to be part of this event.  We 
will have a meeting at the end of January to begin planning.

The sophomore semi will be held on May 5 at the high school. Thanks to 
Julie Anastos and Cheryl Stakutis for offering to chair the parental 
volunteers for this event. Please e-mail Julie at

like to help. They will be working with the kids to develop a theme, etc.

Also, note there will be a parent social, May 5, the night of the sophomore 
semi at Patty and Ken Hecht's home on Brister's Hill Road, close to the 
high school. Thanks Patty and Ken.

The parents of the sophomore class also host the reception for the junior 
prom before the kids board the bus for their prom. The junior prom is May 
18 It is a fun event with which to get involved plus you get to see how 
lovely everyone looks. If you would like to help, please  e-mail Kathy
