>The Cookie Dough Fundraiser is Back!
>
>         Our second annual cookie dough fundraiser is back, and well 
> underway! Once again, students in the class of 2009 have the 
> opportunity to raise funds for themselves and our class by selling 
> boxes of cookie dough. This delicious Otis Spunkmeyer cookie dough 
> comes frozen, and each box contains dough for 48 pre-portioned 
> cookies. Boxes cost $15 each and come in six different flavors. 
> Students were given order forms and collection envelopes on 
> Thursday and asked to sell boxes to family, friends, and neighbors. 
> Order forms and money are due no later than Monday, April 7th and 
> should be turned in to the box in the main office.

>The cookie dough will be delivered to the school on Tuesday, April 
>29th and must be picked up from the faculty dining room sometime 
>between 2:00 and 6:00 PM. It's extremely important that you or your 
>student picks it up that day, as the cookie dough arrives frozen and 
>should not thaw.
>      This fundraiser is unique in that students who choose to 
> partake will receive a greater benefit than those who do not. This 
> year's junior prom tickets will be $60 for students who choose not 
> to participate. However, students who sell at least 15 boxes of 
> cookie dough will go for free! For each box of cookie dough that is 
> sold, the class makes a profit of $6. Students who sell at least 15 
> boxes will see 2/3 of the profit they make for the class returned 
> to them in the form of a free junior prom ticket! The remaining 
> profit will go to the 2009 Class Government and will be used for 
> upcoming events planned for the remainder of this and next year!
>         Similarly, students who sell at least eight boxes will 
> receive half off their junior prom ticket. Students who sell 24 
> boxes will receive a free junior prom ticket and half off their 
> senior prom ticket. Finally, students selling at least 30 boxes 
> will receive free tickets to both this year's junior prom and next 
> year's senior prom. Once again, the overall top seller this year 
> will win a $200 gift certificate for their Senior Prom limousine!
>         As some of you may remember, last year students had to sell 
> eight boxes to go to sophomore semi for free. We had many students 
> who achieved this goal, and even more who surpassed it! If students sold
>more than eight boxes last year, the extra boxes may be carried over 
>to this year's totals. Additionally, students who sold less than 
>eight boxes last year, and subsequently did not receive free tickets, may
>carry over their totals as well.
>         This is a very fun and simple fundraiser. It is intended to 
> not only raise money for our class, but also to enable students to 
> reduce their own upcoming ticket expenses. We had great success last year, and
>already have many students going to junior and senior prom for free! 
>Our goal is to achieve even greater involvement this year, and hope 
>that you will encourage your student to participate! If you have any
