[CCHS-2009] EVENTS UPDATE

Greetings

Here’s an update for the next couple of events for the Class of 2009:

Many thanks to Kathy Wasserman and Betsey Jackson 
for chaperoning at the super heroes dance last 
night. All appeared to go very well with some interesting costumes.

Junior Prom-May 16
·       In recent years Bonardi’s Tuxes have come 
to the high school on a specific date and took 
orders for the tuxes for the junior prom-they 
then can be returned at a specific date to the 
high school. The dates have been set for this and 
specific information will go out after vacation on this.

·       Thanks to all of you who volunteered to 
help decorate-a separate e-mail will go out on 
this-we will be making centerpieces with flowers 
etc and bringing them to the Westin.

·       As most of you are aware the tradition is 
for the kids to gather at the high school for a 
reception put on by the sophomore class. The kids 
have to check in at the reception (if they are 
not there, they are then called). They then walk 
the red carpet and board the buses to go to the 
Westin. All kids attending the prom have to go on the bus.

Spectators (parents and friends) line the walk 
and cheer them on as they board the bus.

Graduation Reception put on by the junior class- June 7
·       Much help is needed with this event-more to follow
