[CCHS-2009] JUNIOR PROM INFORMATION

Greetings

The Junior Prom is rapidly approaching. The date is Friday May 
16.  The kids will gather at the high school between 5:30 and 6:00 
for check in and a reception put on by the sophomore class. They will 
then board the buses starting at 6:30. It is tradition that family 
and friends gather outside the high school as they process on the red 
carpet to the buses. Note: Everyone has to go on the bus!! They will 
then proceed to The Westin in Waltham for the prom. The buses will 
return to the high school by 11:30 PM.

Other notable Items:
Ticket Prices : $60 per ticket, some of the kids will get discounts 
or free tickets depending on how much cookie dough they sold. Tickets 
will be sold the week of May 5.  It is acceptable if a junior is 
going with another junior that each buys his or her own ticket.

Going as groups of friends is certainly acceptable.

Pictures at the Prom: Flyers will be given out when the tickets are 
sold stating the information from the photographer the kids booked to 
be at the prom.

Tuxes:  A separate message has gone out on the availability of tux 
rental at the high school on Friday May 2.

Parent Social: A parent social will be held at Laurie & Peter 
Thomsen's with more info to follow.
