[CCHS-2010] SUMMER OPPORTUNITIES..........

Hello Freshman Parents,

 

Each year we sponsor the Summer Opportunities Fair at CCHS where Exhibitors
from over 85 organizations display information on traditional summer camps,
wilderness adventures, education and enrichment opportunities, sports camps,
special needs programs, foreign language and student exchange programs, as
well as volunteer opportunities.  Chances are many of you have attended the
Fair in past years to find summer adventures for your children.  This year,
the Fair will be held on Monday, January 29, 2007 from 5:30pm - 8:30pm at
CCHS cafeteria.

 

The Freshman Class has the opportunity to run the food concessions at the
Fair to raise money for their class.  To do so, they need parents to help
supervise shifts and also need donated food items.

I am writing to ask your help in either volunteering for a 2 hour shift or
donating water, baked goods and/or Costco items.   

 

Shifts are 5pm - 7pm or 7pm- 9pm.  Ideally we need 2 parents per shift.

 

Donated items (can be dropped-off at CCHS by 5:30pm the night of the Fair)  

*	Water (cases of 16 oz. bottles) 
*	Cookies (packages of 2 ea) 
*	Brownies (cut in squares to sell for .50 ea) 
*	Costco items (Individual small packages of Cheezits, Chex Mix .etc.)

This is a great event that has been in existence for 26 years and continues
to provide a valuable service to our community.
