Dear Class 2010 Families!
Today is Conference Day:
* Please try to stop by the 2010 Table in the Cafeteria area. Blankets, long sleeve DCL shirts and flip flops will be sold. Hours are 2pm - 8:30pm. Cash or checks accepted. Thank you to the parents who have agreed to supervise these sales today, including Mary Horvath, Randy Hartnett, Clare Matthews, Simone Taylor & Bernadette Desrosiers LeBlanc.
Some other items of note:
* A survey was recently conducted in homeroom to confirm interest in the Feb Ski Trip. There is definite interest in holding the trip, votes came in for both 1 night and 2 nights so this is being determined now. Please stay tuned for more details and contact Mary Horvath mary at horvaths.org if you are interested in chaperoning the trip and haven't yet submitted your name.
* Class 2010 Student Reps meet every week, and would like to announce that their meetings are open to all members of the class who would like to sit in. They are held in the SPED Office around 7:05 every Thursday morning.
* ListServe has experienced some recent ISP problems (this happens from time to time). Spread the word if you hear of someone who is not receiving ListServe messages. The ListServe team (up to the level of I.T. Director of Concord Public Schools) is actively engaged with the ISPs fixing these problems whenever they occur. Please be assured that everything possible is being done to bring ListServe messages back to normal flow. We apologize in the meantime for the inconvenience.
Problem Source: Some problems occurred with ListServe early last week (wk after Thanksgiving) which resulted in the sudden sending of many emails. This triggered some "spam levels" at Comcast & Yahoo, and both ISPs blocked ListServe domain as of Wedn 11/28.
Comcast Current Status: As of midnight last night, Comcast messages started to flow. Those of us who have Comcast emails received a slew of emails (many outdated now).
Yahoo Current Status: Yahoo is still blocking ListServe messages. Yahoo customers can similarly expect a slew of backed up emails when the problem is corrected, which should be soon. Again, apologies for the fact that many emails will be outdated by the time they are received.
What can you do? When there are problems like this, there is always the backup method of viewing ListServe emails by visiting the CCHS or class archives from any PC
