And onto the Social Side.....

What a wonderful 2010 Parent Social last evening!! On behalf of the entire class, a huge thank you to Geeta & BC Krishna for opening their home to all of us, and to their helpers Meena Rajgopol & Abha Singhal, as well as everyone else who brought so many things to eat and drink. Thanks to the abundance and generosity of those who brought dessert, a tray of sweetness is being sent to the high school kids rehearsing for the musical! We are fortunate to have the Krishna family in our class, and you can see from the warmth of the email below (sent just after the party was over) they are the most gracious hosts on the planet. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

dear all

We are still basking in the warmth of the evening - and just don't know how to say Thank You to all who brought us warm company! We can't even begin to thank everyone for their generosity, for the drinks to share, the delicious dishes they brought and the tremendous array of dessert goodies -the display was truly phenomenal. Abha and Meena, thank you so much for all your help with everything from set up to sharing delicious authentic Indian dishes to clean up. A special thank you to all the folks who helped clean-up - BC and I are so grateful for all the sparkling dishes left behind, clean kitchen sinks and we find it hard to believe that just an hour ago, close to a 60, 70 people were right here!

It was so nice to meet everyone, such nice people - we keep telling ourselves. And what warms up our hearts is the knowledge that our kids are in this together, sharing this journey through high school. Thank you all! Really special people.

Best

BC and Geeta

PS. I have found the following that someone left behind -

a gold colored serving platter

a blue plastic plate

a Colonial Blue Denby handcrafted stomeware plate - it must be part of a wonderful set, would hate for someone to miss that

Thanks. I can drop off the items with Martha Hammer front office. If there is anything else left behind, please let me know.
