[CCHS-2010] Moonlight Masquerade ~ A Great Success!

Many heart felt thank-you's to all of you who created a terrific night for MASQUERADE.  Volunteers were in abundance for set-up, clean-up, chaperoning, decorating, food, lighting, stage and music, photography, promotion, workshops, furniture moving and donations, FaceBook and ticket design, printing and sales, photography, workshops, meetings, coat check and, of course, lost and found.  The band TRANSIENCE rocked the cafeteria with their original set and were a great hit! DJ Party Excitement kept everyone dancing. Decorations were donated to the Carlisle Public Schools for an event later in the month, so they live on. Many months of planning and your tremendous efforts brought us to a total of 420 tickets sold, a new benchmark for the Class of 2010! 

In terms of the lost and found, we have successfully returned 2 blue blazers, 2 pairs of black heels, 3 cell phones, 2 rose bouquets and one boutonniere.  We still have one yellow and blue striped tie and a silver/diamond bracelet which Jill Curry is holding, so check-in with administration to claim it.  Should anyone locate 2 orange electrical cords, 25 ft. and longer as well as a red and white striped sail cord, please let us know as Gail Burmeister is still missing these from clean-up.

The generosity of many parents, teachers, students, friends and local businesses helped to make this night a very special one and we appreciate all of your efforts, individually and collectively.  We could not have done it without this loving army behind us every step of the way!
