[CCHS-2011] CCHS: A message from 2011 Parent Reps

Welcome Class of 2011 Parents,

We hope the freshmen enjoyed their orientation day.  It was a great way to begin life as a CCHS student.  We are writing to give you some information about the high school and how activities for the Class of 2011 are planned.  We also want to highlight some dates coming up in September and October.

Each class has class officers and the election for the class of 2011 will take place later this month.  Once elected, the class officers will work closely with the faculty advisors, Kevin Pennucci and Ellie Schmidt, to plan activities for the class.  The parent representatives gather parent volunteers when needed to help with activities and fundraisers that the students and teachers plan.  The parent reps will also provide social opportunities for the parent community to get acquainted.  We will be sending emails to share dates, ask for help, and keep you informed with class news.

We need parents to help or chair some events and fundraisers when we know what the students want to do. If you are interested in becoming involved with planning events, please contact Jill Robitaille at jb.robitaille at verizon.net<mailto:jb.robitaille at verizon.net>.

Freshmen Night organized by Principal Peter Badalament and the Guidance Department - for parents only.

September 24
Back to School Night for parents only

September 29:
Dance for Freshmen and Sophomores at 7:00 p.m., organized by the Class of 2010

October 1
Coffee with Principal Badalament 8:30 a.m. in room A-7
(These coffees take place the first Monday of each month-informal and informative!)
