CLASS OF 2011 - Sophomore Year Calendar
Concord Carlisle High School

Welcome new and returning parents of the class of 2011. Freshman year was only the beginning.  Sophomore year is filled with many fun and enriching activities that we don't want you to miss.  The calendar below (at the bottom of this e-mail) is an overview of what the class parents have planned for the coming year.  We have also included the students’ calendar for your convenience.  Please remember to read your monthly newsletter to find updates or changes to these events.

While we have had many wonderful coffees and social events to keep parents connected, to make any year successful, we depend upon our parent volunteers.  This year we have many volunteer opportunities, from helping with the Sophomore Semi to hosting a morning coffee for parents.  Please give a few hours of your time to volunteer.  You won't regret it!

The following are parent events that will need your support:


 1.  Parent Coffees (mornings): (These dates are flexible.)
Thursday, October 2nd
Thursday, December 4th
Thursday March 5th

We need hosts for each of these coffees.


 1.  Parent Socials (evenings):
Saturday, October 18th
Friday, January 9th (the same night as the 2011 sponsored dance)
Friday, May 2nd (the same night as the sophomore semi).

We need hosts and several organizers for each of these evening socials.

If you want to volunteer to host or organize one of these events, please contact:

We also need someone to Chair (or Co-Chair) the Sophomore Semi Formal which takes place on May 2nd and the Junior Prom reception on May 15th.

Finally, we will need parents to help with the following events:

- Family Tailgate Party: set up/clean up
- Chaperones for Student Events
- Support for student fundraiser committees
