Donations  & Volunteers for the 2011 Thanksgiving Feast For Senior Citizens Sought

Dear Class of 2011 Families,

Every year, the CCHS Junior Class hosts a Thanksgiving Feast for the Senior Citizens of Concord & Carlisle.  The Feast is served in the CCHS Cafeteria with linens, china, and all the foods of Thanksgiving.  This year our feast is being held SATURDAY NOVEMBER 21st.  We need donations of food items and table sponsors to make this event possible.

We are seeking :
26 Turkeys (15-18 lbs) to be dropped off Friday Nov. 13th 6:30 - 1:30 PM at the High School Cafeteria - these are Frozen Turkeys
             (Fresh Turkeys must be dropped off by November 16th 6:30-1:30 PM )


 to be dropped off Friday Nov. 20th  6:30-1:30 PM  @ the High School Cafeteria:


 *   10 gallons of Cider in 1/2 gallon containers to be dropped off Friday Nov. 20th  6:30-1:30 PM  @ the High School Cafeteria
 *   10 Apple Pies - large enough to serve 8-10 people - pies MUST be thoroughly cooked please (no raw crusts)
 *   10  Pumpkin Pies - large enough to serve 8-10 people - dough thoroughly cooked please
 *   5 Chocolate Cream Pies for 8-10 People
 *   5 Lemon Meringue Pies for 8-10 People
 *   30 Butternut Squash - peeled and roughly cut into chunks available in most Produce sections or at farm stands
 *    3 Large platters of cheese (think Costco) - cheese sampler platters with cheese already in chunks (enough for 50 people each)
 *   15 boxes of crackers - Ritz, Carrs Water Crackers, etc... to accompany the above platters
 *   30 Pumpkins (real or fake) roughly the size of a soccer ball - (these are for our centerpieces)

We are also seeking sponsors for 'Setting the Table'  a $50 donation will sponsor 1 table of place settings. Checks should be made payable to Class of 2011 PAG  and mailed to Nancy Ryan @ 144 Partridge Lane Concord.

We will also NEED :

 *   15 students to set up for the Feast from 9:00-11:00 AM Saturday Nov. 21st
 *   15 students to serve and clean up 11:00 AM- 3:00 PM (white top, black or khaki base as uniform)
 *   3-4 students to provide a musical backdrop for the festivities (chorus singers, key board,etc...) 11:00-12 PM

Additionally, we also need
10 Parents to help support the kitchen and serve 11-3 PM Nov. 21st
