Welcome to CCHS Class of 2012 Students & Parents!

 

Let us introduce ourselves - We are Alan Budris, our class email list
moderator, and Barbara Green, Joyce Hogan, Maura Kenney, Lauren Huyett,
Lucy McBride, Sue Merlino, Nancy St. Jean, Betsy Yamron, & Sarah Zirkel
- the CCHS Parent Association Representatives for the Class of 2012.
Our job is to help coordinate, support, communicate and solicit
volunteers for the many class of 2012 activities and fundraisers our
kids will plan over the next four years, as well as to provide
opportunities for us 2012 parents to get to know each other.  Let's have
some FUN as our kids learn!

 

With the mad scramble of our first activity, the Freshman Orientation
BBQ, successfully behind us, we look forward to four fantastic years at
CCHS.  Here's a preview of some of the notable class & school events
scheduled so far for this academic year...Please put them on your
calendar!  You'll hear more from us as the dates get closer.

 

September 15 - Counseling Department presentation for Freshman/2012

September 17 - Freshman Parents Info Night with Counseling Department &
Peter Badalament

September 18 - Class of 2012 Parent Social at the Zirkel home, 7:00-9:30
PM

September 19 - All School Dance

September 22 - Back to School Night for all CCHS Parents; 

  - Class of 2012 Spring Bulb/Perennial Fundraiser;

  - Sign Ups for Parent activities.

September 25 - Class of 2012 Parent Coffee at the the Yamron home,
9:00-11:00 AM

September 26 - Freshman Class Elections

     October 10 - Class of 2012 Football Game/Pot Luck Dinner Tailgate
Party

     October 25 - All School Halloween Dance

   November 6 - Class of 2012 Moms' Night Out  

   December 4 - Parent/Teacher Conferences & Class of 2012 Fundraiser

     January 15 - Parent Coffee at St. Jean home, 9:00-11:00 AM

  January TBD - Class of 2012 Parent Social (Looking for someone to
host.)

             April 3 - Class of 2012 Sponsored Activity 

     March TBD - Class of 2012 Parent Social (Looking for someone to
host.)

     April 27-29 - Town Meeting Class of 2012 Fundraiser (Looking for a
Chairperson.)

        May TBD - Class of 2012 Parent Social (Looking for someone to
host.)

      

We'd love to have as many activities and parent socials as we can this
year. Please share your ideas and energies with us to make it a
fantastic year!  Any responses to this email should be directed to

Important Note: Almost all of our correspondence will take place via
email, so it is imperative that you keep us updated with your current
email address. We could also use your immediate help getting other 2012
parents to sign on to our email distribution list...Nearly one third of
the 2012 Class Families are NOT receiving this email as they are not
signed up on the CCHS Class 2012 email list. PLEASE ask your Class of
2012 friends if they are signed up and point them to the website below
if they are not. 

 

1)    GO TO:  www.lists.ptg-concord.org/mailman/listinfo

2)    Click on the appropriate link for your child's graduating class
year (likely cchs-2012). Those with multiple children at CCHS will need
to repeat this process for each year of graduation (each class will
occasionally have individual targeted mailings).  You will automatically
be subscribed to the full CCHS list. 

 

3)    To subscribe, enter your email address, student name and Student
ID number (as instructed online). 

 

4)    You will receive an email confirmation asking for your permission
to be added to the CCHS Mailing List. You MUST reply back per the
instructions in order to become an active list participant. No reply, no
mailings.

 

5)    AOL Members: Please check your spam file regularly, and approve
any CCHS addresses as acceptable senders.

 

6)    You do NOT need to re-subscribe to any given class list if you
were on that list this past school year, UNLESS your email address has
changed and/or you want to add a new address.
