What is...the Matrix? Unfortunately, no one can be TOLD what the Matrix
is - you have to EXPERIENCE it for yourself -- and you can, by joining the
scifi club on their trip to opening night of the Matrix: Revolutions next
Wednesday, Nov 5th. The cost of the trip is $10 and financial assistance
is available. See Mr. Nurenberg for permission slips.
Dont forget to tune into The Beat: Reflections radio or stop by WIQH on
Monday from 6-7pm to hear or see Serotonin live! Support WIQH stop at the
bake sale in the caf. all week after school.
There will be a mandatory Reflections meeting Tues. & Thurs. afterschool
in the Reflections Room.
The second Psychology Book Club meeting will be held on Tues., Nov. 4th @
6pm in H-2. Well be discussing the 2nd half of PROZAC NATION. All
invited.
Have you ever wondered when the new parking lot is going to be put in?
How about when the pool will be built? The WIQH News Dept. is looking for
investigative reporters. If you have any interest at all in finding these
answers, come to the radio station on Wed., Nov. 5th right after school.
If unable to attend speak w/Al Leetzau.
CCHS Musicians get ready! Auditions for Battle of the Bands are coming
soon! Get your band ready to play NOW. And remember...to be eligible for
the Battle, at least two thirds of your band's members must be current
CCHS students. See the WIQH bulletin board in the S Building or visit the
radio station for details.
Basketball Cheerleading tryouts will be held on Tues. Nov.4th from
2:30-4pm and Wed. Nov.5th from 2:30-5pm in the Faculty Dining Room, also
on Thurs. Nov. 6th from 4-6pm in A-8.
All girls who are interested in playing Basketball this winter there will
be a meeting on Wed. Nov. 5 at 2:30pm in A-8. Any one planning to try out
for Freshmen, JV or Varsity are invited to attend.
Reminder: State Representative Cory Atkins will be in the Little theater
today during lunch blocks to discuss internship & community service
opportunities in her new regional office.
ATTENTION SKATEBOARDERS:
On Nov. 11th the Skate Park Committee from Concord will have a field trip
to Charlestown. For $10 you will be bussed to a brand new skate park to
ride & test out equipment. The equipment is the same as what the
committee is planning for Concord. The bus will be leaving 9am and return
at 1pm. Contact T.J. Liakos @ Hunt Gym for more info.
Interested in politics? Come to Third Wing meeting Tues. after school in
the Little Theater. Open to everyone, but mandatory for all staff.
The Ski Team Meeting is Thurs, Nov. 6th @2:30 in the Little Theater.
Reminder: the womens fencing team will have it's introductory meeting
this afternoon at 2:30 in the lower gym. All are welcome, no experience
necessary.
Attention Juniors & Seniors:
You must take & pass the MCAS Test in order to graduate. If you are new
to CCHS and have never taken the MCAS Test you must see Ms. Truslow as
soon as possible to take the MCAS Test on Nov. 17-21.
