DAILY BULLETIN

Funka-who? That's right, Funkasaures Rex! If you enjoy music, then you'll
probably like this band! If you want to see them live, stop by the WIQH
studios on Friday from 3:00 to 4:00 to watch Funkasaures Rex go insane! If
you can't make it in person, tune in to 88.3 FM, WIQH for all the sweet,
sweet music.

Sunshine, good food, fun and learning...find out more about the weeklong
trip to Spain this April vacation.  An informational meeting will be held
tonight at 7:00 p.m. in the Little Theater.  If interested, a parent or
guardian must  attend to hear trip details.  If you have questions,
contact Ms. St. Jean or Ms. Antkowiak.

There will be a mandatory Reflections meeting today after school in the
Reflections Room.

The second Psychology Book Club meeting will be held on today @ 6pm in
H-2.  We’ll be discussing the 2nd half of PROZAC NATION.  All invited.

Basketball Cheerleading tryouts will be held today from 4-6pm in A-8.

The Ski Team Meeting is today @2:30 in the Little Theater.

Do you know what the PATRIOT ACT is?  It's a controversial bill signed
into law following the 9/11 attacks - supporters say it gives law
enforcement expanded power to protect you from terrorists, while opponents
say it violates your privacy and can suspend your right to a lawyer or
trial by jury.  Next Wednesday, come hear a panel of experts debate the
PATRIOT ACT: speakers will include a former state supreme court justice,
an anti-terror expert, a civil liberties lawyer, and retired CCHS history
teacher Elliot Lilien.  That's the PATRIOT ACT debate, next Wednesday,
November 12th, from 7-9 PM.  Busses will leave CCHS at 6:30.  For more
information and for permission slips, see Mr. Nurenberg or Mr. Prifti.

Cathleen Howard will be presenting a workshop called “Mindful Approaches
To The Practice & Playing of String Instruments”.  The workshop will be
held next Wed. Nov. 12 in the orchestra Room.  Student participants should
bring: their instrument, a short musical piece, notebook & water. This
workshop is made possible by the Concord Ed Fund.

Support your friendly high school radio station & feed your appetite. 
Stop by the WIQH bake sale in the Cafeteria after school this week.

Attention Seniors: If you have a college deadline for Dec. 1 your student
consent form MUST be turned in to Mrs. Tessari by Nov. 13th (Next Thurs.).

There will be a meeting of ALL Boys Basketball candidates (Freshmen, JV &
Varsity)on Wed. Nov. 12th @ 2:30pm in then Faculty Dining Room.

Attention Juniors!  The magazine drive button of the day is number _____. 
Don’t forget to turn in your orders during lunch blocks at the table
outside the Caf. this week.   You could win a mini-fridge or reach into
the cash box!!  Remember tomorrow is the last day!!
