Do you know what the PATRIOT ACT is?  It's a controversial bill signed
into law following the 9/11 attacks - supporters say it gives law
enforcement expanded power to protect you from terrorists, while opponents
say it violates your privacy and can suspend your right to a lawyer or
trial by jury.  This Wednesday, come hear a panel of experts debate the
PATRIOT ACT: speakers will include a former state supreme court justice,
an anti-terror expert, a civil liberties lawyer, and retired CCHS history
teacher Elliot Lilien.  That's the PATRIOT ACT debate, Wednesday, November
12th, from 7-9 PM.  Busses will leave CCHS at 6:30.  For more information

Attention Seniors: If you have a college deadline for Dec. 1 your student
consent form MUST be turned in to Mrs. Tessari by Thurs. Nov. 13th .

Cathleen Howard will be presenting a workshop called “Mindful Approaches
To The Practice & Playing of String Instruments”.  The workshop will be
held next Wed. Nov. 12  @ 7pm. in the Orchestra Room.  Student
participants should bring: their instrument, a short musical piece,
notebook & water. This workshop is made possible by the Concord Ed Fund

All juniors who are interested in volunteering for the annual Thanksgiving
luncheon for senior citizens on Saturday November 22nd, should see Laura
Belkner, Ms. Moore or Ms. Fenton. You will earn community service hours
for participating in this event.

Come all you cool dancers to the Dance Dance Revolution Club will meet on
Mondays in H-12 @ 2:30.  The DDR Club is for people who want to dance &
just have fun.

Tune into WIQH 88.3fm tonight to hear this weeks The Beat:Reflections
radio, featuring the live poetry of Aaron Marks with a soundtrack by Liz
Popolo.

There will be a Reflections meeting on Thurs.- attendance is mandatory for
all staff members.

Anyone or any group interested in performing at the Spirit Assembly should
sign up with Mr. Sapp by Thurs.  Auditions will be held in the Little
Theater Thurs. Nov. 13 @ 3pm.
