DAILY BULLETIN

	  	     		Thurs., Jan. 22, 2004	.

ALL Battle of the Bands band members must stop by the radio station before
Friday at 2:00 p.m. to pick up final information for the show.

There will a brief meeting for all History Reading Group participants,
past and present on Friday afternoon at 2:15 in H-8.  We will be
discussing upcoming plans and our mid-year black tie dinner.  Please
come-the meeting will be short.  For those who want to stick around for an
uplifting conversation, we will continue our discussion of genocide and
human nature.

Attention All Carlisle Seniors:
The Caroline Hill Scholarship Fund application is available in the
transcript office.  Please stop by today and pick one up from Mrs. Tessari.

“Tune into WIQH 88.3 FM all this week for your chance to win free battle
of the band tickets. Shows have been selected at random to give away pairs
of tickets. The only way to win, is to listen. So be sure to tune in to
WIQH 88.3 FM all this week.”

The Battle of the Bands is THIS Saturday night at CCHS.  Tickets are on
sale in the Cafeteria during lunch blocks this week for only $9.  Tickets
at the door on Saturday will cost $12 so save money and buy your tickets
in advance!  Battle of the Bands T-shirts are also on sale during lunch
blocks for $15.

Seniors who are using the independent option to complete the Senior
Wellness Project, don't forget your project is due this Friday – that’s
tomorrow.  If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Slocum.

In order to qualify  for off-campus D,E,F blocks a junior needs to have
the following:
20 hours of community service completed by February 2, 2004
Open campus privileges (already have 50 credits)
No credit reductions for the first or second quarter 
Parental permission (signed form returned to main office)
No violations of open campus policy or incidents of having left school
without permission during the first and second quarters.  See Mrs. Trainor
or Mr. Weinstein for a permission form.

If you did not receive your attendance report in homeroom stop by the main
office & pick it up They have to be turned in by 2:00 today.

Calling all writers – The CCHS Drama club is looking for students to
create a play about choices you made in high school.  We will begin with
students handing in essays, short stories or narratives about choices they
have made dealing with & around high school.  These will be reviewed &
edited into vignettes & the scenes made into a play.  They can serious or
funny, signed or not.  There will be a meeting on Fri. Jan 23 in I-6 from
2:15-2:45 for all interested.  See Mr. Brown if you can not make the
meeting but still want to participate.
