There will be a Reflections meeting today after school in the I building.
Please be there, we will start work on the new issue.
Interested in politics? Then be sure to pick up a copy of the second
edition of The Third Wing. Copies will be available in the caf. during
lunch blocks.
Attention Mr. Pickmans classes You MUST pick up your portfolios by
Friday.
There will be a sophomore class semi meeting today) @ 2:30 in S-28.
Important information about the semi will be discussed. Dont miss it!
The first trial of the 10th Annual Moot Court Competition wiil take place
today @ 2:15 in H-6. Corr & Woodward vs. Condon & Lawrence. The Second
trial will be Friday @ 2:15 in H-6. Morgan & Noble vs. Coscia & Negrin.
All are invited to attend please be on time.
World Cultures Book Group will have a meeting this week Friday right after
school to begin our reading of
Wild Swans - Three Daughters of China. See Mrs. O'Connor to get a book
Writers of CCHS Your time is running out to submit to the Reflections
short story contest. 1st place winner will receive $250, $150 will go to
2nd place and honorable mention receives $75. Deadline is next Friday,
Feb. 13th, so dont wait get your work into the blue box in the Library.
February is American Heart Month, the American Heart Assoc. will launch a
new campaign to increase awareness among women. You can participate by
wearing red on Fri., Feb. 6th.
2nd quarter credit loss could make you ineligible for co-curricular
activities. Make sure you clear these up. The Attendance Review Board
will meet on Feb. 9th @ 2:30 in A-7. Pick up forms from Mrs. Trainor.
Russ Burgess (hypnotist) will be visiting CCHS this Sat. evening (Feb.
7th) in the Upper Gym. Tickets are $10 and will be available during lunch
blocks today, Thurs. & Fri. Come
State Representative Cory Atkins is looking for people to work on her
campaign. If you are interested please come to an information session
today @ 3:30 at 1540 Monument Street.
