DAILY BULLETIN
Wed., Feb. 11, 2004 .
Congratulations go to the Women's and Men's fencing teams who won the
state championship Sunday for the second year running.
Do you like basketball? How about a little friendly competition? The CCHS
Students Against AIDS have organized a basketball tournament for
Wednesday, Feb. 25 from 2:30-5:30 to raise money for the World Health
Organization. There will be food, drinks, and prizes for the winners. The
cost is $15/ a 3 person team. Sign ups for the student/faculty 3 on 3
tournament will be held in the café during lunch blocks & also on the
bulletin board outside the SSERC.
There will be a sophomore class meeting today @ 2:30 in S-28. If your on a
committee or would like to help dont miss it.
Students going to Spain in April dont forget about the meeting today @
2:10 in L-9.
Any student who wishes to remain on a course Wait List MUST see one of the
guidance secretaries by the end of school today.
Its the last day for the Senior class to sell carnations in the Caf.

on Friday in homeroom. Dont miss out!
There will be a meeting tomorrow for girls interested in playing softball
this spring @2:15 in the caf. Please come & get info on upcoming events &
readiness.
Any students interested in learning how to play the game Warhammer are
welcome to attend the Science Fiction club meeting today at 2:15 in H-11.
The last Business Club Stock Competition will begin on Thursday. All
those interested are encouraged to attend a Business Club meeting tomorrow
in H-16 @ 2:15.
Mr. Nurenberg will present a talk entitled: Before There was Fiddler: A
Brief History of Yiddish Literature in the Little Theater at 2:30
tomorrow. All are welcome to attend.
Come to Unity on Thurs. in H-14 at 2:15 and discuss the upcoming
Multicultural Food fest. Everyone invited to help w/planning.
Who will be the next President of the United States? Your vote counts!
Come and get informed about the 2004 Presidential Candidates when the
Third Wing & Junior State team-up for a night of debate tonight from
6-7:30 in the Little Theater. All are welcome!
There will be a Psychology Book club meeting today @ 6pm in H-2 to discuss
the sescond half of Sybil. All are invited!
Flowers & chocolates are great, but why not buy that special someone an
AIDs ribbon to benefit the World Health Org.? You can show your thinking
of them & help the world at the same time. The handcrafted ribbons are red
satin w/gold pin closures are $1 and will be sold in the caf. during lunch.
A Reminder not to bring valuables into the gym locker rooms. This means
money, phones, cameras and calculators - they should be locked in your
reg. school locker.
