Run for the Runners!
Support Concord-Carlisle High School's Track and Cross-Country Teams by entering the First Annual Concord-Carlisle Cross Country Run for the Runners. The race will be held on the high school's challenging 2.7 mile cross-country course at noon on Sunday, March 28th. This fund-raising event is organized by the Friends of Concord-Carlisle Cross-Country and proceeds will be used for finishing line equipment that cannot be funded out of the already very challenged school budget. Individual entries cost $25. There are also a variety of options for group competition - for sibling, parent-child and 3- or 4-person teams. All runners must be at least 11 years old. Registration forms are available from David Storto at destorto at comcast.net or 978-287-5115. Late registration is possible up to 10:30am on race day. This is a USA Track & Field sanctioned event.

Fiddler on the Roof!
While some CCHS students will enjoy their February vacation away from the halls of CCHS, the 120 students involved with 'Fiddler on the Roof' will enjoy their vacation in the CCHS auditorium as they perfect the production. Take a peek at the stage and the set will entice you to buy your tickets!  Ticket order forms are available at Video Revolution, West Concord 5 &10 and Ferns Country Store in Carlisle, from Ms Karban in the math office or may be downloaded from the website <ccpops.org>. CCHS students may purchase one $10.00 ticket each during lunch blocks on February 24, 25, and 26 and a section of 'open seating' has been set aside for each performance so that students may sit with their friends. Everyone is welcome to attend the Open Dress Rehearsal on Wednesday, February 25 at 4:00. This performance is free to all! Contact Mary Jane Divino <president at ccpops.org> for more information.
