The Honor Roll list is up on the window in the main office. Please check
it, if you feel your name should be on it please see Mr. Weinstein. There
are several reasons the computer may not have produced your name, he will
be happy to straighten this out with you.
All Fiddler on the Roof cast, crew, and pit are reminded that forms for
t-shirts, long sleeved shirts, and sweatshirts are due by the end of
school TOMORROW. Bring your forms to Ms. Karban or put them in her
mailbox. Do not forget - this deadline will NOT be extended.
The History Reading Group will meet this Friday at 2:20 in H-8 to discuss
the Heart of Darkness. If you are interested in the dark, underside of
human nature--please join us for light conversation on Friday
afternoon...the horror!...the horror!
THE FOLLOWING CCHS WRESTLERS WENT TO THE MIAA Wrestling State Tournament
held last week-end, Feb 20-22 at Reading High School.: COLIN BRADY, MAX
KLINOFF, ALEX KLINOFF, MIKE WALKER, AND MIKE VISCARIELLO. Congratulate
them on a job well done.
All season the CC hockey team has fought through DCL and other games, but
this is what it all comes down to. Sunday at 7:00 CC takes on their first
post season opponent in the Division 3 Tournament, where CC is ranked
number 1. If you cant make it down to the game be sure to tune in to the
home station of all CC sports, WIQH 88.3FM to hear all of the action live.
TOYS club will meet after school Friday in S-11. We have some great new
demos, including building a kaleidoscope and an exploding film can. Come
plan and play with us!
Today there will be a meeting for anyone who is helping or interested in
helping with the efforts of CCHS Students Against HIV/AIDS after school in
H-2.
If you are interested in Rock Climbing or learning how to rock climb, pick
up a permission slip from the bulletin board outside of S-23 and join us
in the lower gym. Rock Climbing on the rock wall will be every Tuesday
and Thursday from 3-5pm.
The 4th & 5th trials of the 10th Annual Moot Court Competition will be
today & Friday. Today Han & Abend take on Eisenstat & Lunig. On Fri.
Haberman & Konsin challenge Briggs & Ippolito. Cases will be heard @2:15
in H-6. All are invited, please be on time.
There will be a Reflections meeting after school today in the Reflections
room. Staff attendance is crucial; we will be beginning layout.
Class of 2006: Join us for a ski trip to Mt. Snow, spend 2 nights at a
hotel & a full day of skiing or snowboarding.
Extra permission slips are available outside the main office & caf.
Please note that the forms given out in your homeroom did not have
permission slips attached. Please return to office by today.
A reminder to all writers that the Reflections Short Story Contest ends on
Monday, March 1st so finish up your 2500 word story & give it to your Eng.
teacher or put it in the blue box in the library. Prizes are $250 for 1st
place, $150 for 2nd place and $75 for honorable mention. Monday is also
the deadline for poetry & art submissions.
