Support Concord-Carlisle High School's Track and Cross-Country Teams by
entering the First Annual Concord-Carlisle Cross Country Run for the
Runners. The race will be held on the high school's challenging 2.7 mile
cross-country course at noon on Sunday, March 28th. This fund-raising
event is organized by the Friends of Concord-Carlisle Cross-Country and
proceeds will be used for finishing line equipment that cannot be funded
out of the already very challenged school budget. Individual entries cost
$25.  There are also a variety of options for group competition - for
sibling, parent-child and 3- or 4-person teams. All runners must be at
least 11 years old. Registration forms are available from David Storto at
destorto at comcast.net or 
978-287-5115. Late registration is possible up to 10:30am on race day.
This is a USA Track & Field sanctioned event.

PLEASE NOTE: Freshman/Sophomore Parent Meeting is Mon., March 15th from
7:30-9pm in the CCHS Little Theater.

Tomorrow is election day. If you have turned 18 and have registered to
vote, make sure to make your voice heard. Vote for town selectmen and in
the presidential primary tomorrow March 2nd. Polls are open 7 am to 8 pm.

The First Annual Trivia Contest is coming to CCHS on Fri., Mar. 19th from
7-10pm.  Look for posters around the school for more info. Teams of up to
6 sit at tables in the caf.(no stage-no stage fright).  Sponsored by the
class of ’07.  To get your brain exercised we will be asking a trivia
question in the morning & give the answer @ the end of the day.

Trivia Question for today: Where did the Soviet made rocket called the
Luna II land in 1959?

Attention performers & cooks – Your chance to showcase your talents is
coming up on March 25th for Unity’s annual Multi-cultural Food Fest.   If
you are interested in performing or cooking please contact Cherisa
Hernandez, Charisse Gilmer or Ms. Richmond in the Eng. Dept.

There will be a MANDATORY Football Meeting today after school in the Caf.
after school.

Boys lacrosse meeting for all boys in grades 9 thru 12 interested in
playing this spring on tomorrow, March 2nd at 2:15 in the faculty dining.

A reminder to all writers that the Reflections Short Story Contest ends
today so turn in your 2500 word story - put it in the blue box in the
library or give it to your Eng. teacher.  Prizes are $250 for 1st place,
$150 for 2nd place and $75 for honorable mention.   Today is also the
deadline for poetry & art submissions.  Remember there will be a
Reflections meeting Tues. & Thurs after school.

Stop by the school store in the caf after school Mon –Wed from 2:15 – 3pm
and pick up a snack.

Do you know what you are doing for a summer job?  It isn't too early to
start thinking about this.  Many camp jobs require CPR certification.  If
you are interested in getting YOUR CPR certification, sign up now.  The
sign up list is on the Outdoor Club bulletin board outside of S-23 (the
math office)

come down to the studio to see Taylor Berrmeister perform poetry live as
student band The Red Light District jam in response.
