DAILY BULLETIN

Attention all students & teachers who are interested in contributing to
our school.  The Student-Faculty Senate is now being created.  The teams
meetings for drafting the proposal are every Thursday @7am, yes that’s am.
In H-15

The Art Dept. would like to invite faculty & staff to the Concord-Carlisle
High School Art Gallery to meet artist & Professor Dean Nimmer whose
artwork is currently on display.  There will be a brief reception today
after school from 2-3pm w/light refreshments.

Come to the International Issues Reading Group on Monday, April 12th @
2:30 in H-3.  We’ll be discussing Pakistan, the US and the spread of
weapons of mass destruction in today’s world.  All are welcome.

Transcript money is due now!  You will not receive your graduation
invitations unless this is paid in full.  Please inform Mrs. Tessari of
your final decision or any other plans that you may have for the year
following graduation.

Attention all sophomores: If you are interested in helping out with the
semi, please come to the meetings every Thurs. in S-27 @ 5pm.  Check out
the bulletin boards for more info.

Come to a Spectrum dinner & a movie tonight from 6-8:30pm in H-4.  We will
be eating a lot of pizza and watching the summer hit CAMP.   Be there or
be a pink triangle!

Join the discussion of Reading Lolita in Tehran tonight @ 7:30 in the
Library. Cookies and conversation.

Today’s the day!  Winners of the Reflections Short Story Contest will be
announced today @ 2:30 in the library.  Come and congratulate the winners
and enjoy refreshments.

It's time to apply to be a station manager next year.  Stop by the station
and see what you can do.  And if you're not a WIQH member, you can still
apply.  See Ned Roos at WIQH for more information.  Applications must be
completed by April 16.

Nomination forms are available from Mrs. Coleman in the main office for
the Concord-Carlisle Community Chest Service Award for Outstanding Service
in the Field of Human Services.  A student may be nominated by someone or
nominate themselves. Nomination deadline is Wed., April 14th.  Nomination
forms will not be accepted after that date.  Nomination forms should be
returned to Mrs. Coleman in the main office.

Maureen Taggart Community Service Award
Under the guidance of the Recreation Commission, the Maureen Taggart
Memorial Award is open to any high school Senior who is a resident of
Concord or Carlisle.  The candidate will have demonstrated exemplary
voluntary service to his/her community.  The unique feature of this award
is that the recipient has the privilege to designating a deserving
organization to receive a financial grant in Maureen's name.  Nominations
may be made by the citizenry of Concord and Carlisle and any faculty
member or student of the candidates school.  Nomination forms may be
picked up from Mrs. Coleman in the main office.  Nomination forms must be
returned to Mrs. Coleman by April 26th.
