++++++ CLEAN UP SOMEONE ELSE'S ACT! ++++++

Do you have 2 or 3 hours to help Concord Council on Aging elders with
outdoor clean-up tasks (e.g., raking leaves, storing air conditioners,
checking smoke detectors, planting bulbs) this fall? Last fall, 75
school/faith/youth group volunteers gave over 100 hours of help. Community
service credits are available. Weekends or after-school times are available
from October to mid-November. Please call the COA at 978-318-3020 or email
Debbie Barr at Deb01742 at aol.com to register your team.

++++++ DON'T JUST SPIN YOUR WHEELS ++++++

Concord-Carlisle Community Education is offering driver education on
Tuesdays and Thursdays,  September 21 through November 9 (15 classes) from 3
to 5 p.m. or 6 to 8 p.m. at CCHS. The cost is $420.
Driving practice and observation may be made for afternoons, early evening,
Saturdays, and study periods with permission. Call Christo Driving School
directly at 508-481-6384 to reserve a space and enroll with payment at the
first class. 

++++++ DO YOU JUJITSU? ++++++

Concord-Carlisle Community Education also is offering Jukido Jujitsu: A
Traditional Martial Art for Self-Defense. The course includes 8 classes
meeting Thursdays from September 23 to November 18 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at
the CCHS Lower Gym. The cost is $144. Please wear comfortable clothes and
follow all safety guidelines.
