Hello,

	Today I had to relay some very sad news to faculty and to the student
body. I am printing below a message that I had teachers read to their last
period classes. I think it is mimportant for you to know just in case your
child might be one who is affected in any way.

Teachers, please read to your G block Class


	
	Late yesterday afternoon I received unconfirmed information that, Eric
Sproul, one of our 2004 graduates had passed away. Today I was able to
confirm that information. Eric was a fine student, and excellent athlete,
and an exceptional young man. He was admired and respected by those who
knew him. At this time, I would hope all students would be respectful of
Eric’s memory and supportive to his friends and former teammates. This is
terribly sad news to all of us who knew Eric. Our thoughts and prayers go
out to Eric’s family and friends. Students, who need to speak to someone
in their grief, should know that their counselor, or any one of our social
workers is available to them.
