"The Battle of the Bands is coming to CCHS on Saturday, January 22! 
Advance ticket sales begin next Tuesday during all lunches in the
cafeteria.  Tickets will be on sale for $10 in advance and $12 at the
door."

"All WIQH Members who want to help with the Battle of the Bands should
sign up at the radio station NOW! "

Hey Sophomores!  It's time to start thinking about themes for the Semi! 
Have any ideas?  A box has been placed in the main office where you can
drop off your ideas.  Submit your theme idea by Friday, January 21st.  A
prize will be awarded for the winning entry.

The following students MUST SEE Mrs. Coleman today.
Shivani Dave, Caroline DeMambro, Sean Dolan, Kenneth Dorch, Hugh Doyle,
Don Driscoll, Patricia Duggan, Brandon Dunton, and Gabe Ellis-Ferrara

Senior Project Students:  The Mentor-Mentee pairings are posted in the
windows of the English and Social Studies Offices.  Mr. Angney and Mr.
Lynch encourage you to check it out and set up an appointment with your
mentor in the next couple of weeks to start thinking about you possible
projects.  See Mr. Angney with any questions or problems.

Freshmen: Postural Screening will begin next week.  Please wear
appropriate clothing and stop by the Health Office if you have any
questions.

Attention All Students: Greg Goltsov, an American who has spent the last
two years doing peacework in Israel and the Palestinian territories, will
be speaking about his experiences after school on Tuesday in the little
theater at 2:30 pm.  This is a valuable opportunity to get first hand
reports of nonviolent conflict resolution in action.  All are invited.  If
you have any questions, see Mr. Nurenberg.

The English Department has selected two juniors to participate in the
annual Achievement Awards in Writing, a national writing  competition
sponsored by the National Council of Teachers of English.  Congratulations
to the two nominees, Sophie Buonomo and Chris Ting.  Thank you to all the
excellent writers who participated in the selection process.

Seniors: Deadline for Cap and Gown Payment is January 28th.
