+++++ COMEDIAN JIMMY TINGLE AT CCHS +++++

Noted comedian and satirist Jimmy Tingle will be at CCHS on Sunday, January
30, at 7 p.m. for a live performance to benefit the upcoming trip to China
of the CCHS Chinese language students. Tingle is a brilliant humorist who
targets the things in contemporary life that just don't make sense. He is
currently appearing as the political and social humorist on CBS's 60 Minutes
II and has appeared on The Tonight Show, Comedy Central, Larry King Weekend,
The Late Show with Conan O'Brien, The American Comedy Awards, and his own
HBO One Night Stand comedy special. The four-year CCHS Chinese language and
culture program, taught by Ms. Hai-Ming Wu, is one of the only such programs
in area high schools. The upcoming trip, led by Ms. Wu, will be the first
that the program has sponsored and marks a major milestone for the program
as well as an exceptional opportunity for its students to hone their
language skills and deepen their understanding of Chinese culture. Tickets
for the Tingle event are $15 and can be reserved on line at
www.cchsChinatrip.blogspot.com or by calling (978) 505-9540. For further
information, contact Hai-Ming Wu at hwu at colonial.net.
