+++++ PRINCIPAL'S COFFEE AND PA MEETING +++++
The Principal's Coffee was postponed from last week so both the morning
coffee and the PA meeting/coffee can take place on Monday, March 14.
The Principal's Coffee will be at 8:30 a.m. in Room A-7 and the PA
meeting/coffee will be at 7:30 p.m. in the Library. This year evening
PA meetings are similar to the Principal's Coffee providing parents who
are unable to come to the monthly daytime coffees a chance to hear
about how things are going at the school and to ask Principal Art
Dulong about any items of concern. Please join us in the morning or
the evening (or both!) for some lively conversation. Refreshments will
be served.
+++++ ANNUAL APPEAL +++++
We're Part Way There! Many thanks to the 175 CCHS families who have
generously donated to the 2005 Annual Appeal Campaign. Your donations,
totaling over $15,000, will go a long way towards funding some terrific and
exciting faculty grants. NOW, let's get the rest to help make the
remainder of our
fundraising goal a realtiy. There are still hundreds of CCHS families
that we
hope to hear from in the next two weeks. Please, let's make this our first
fundraising campaign where 100 percent of the CCHS community pulls together
and lends their support! Send checks payable to CCHS Parents
Association to
70 Alford Circle, Concord, MA 01742. Thanks for your help...yes, YOUR
help....
we really do mean you!
+++++ SENIOR SAFARI VOLUNTEER MEETING +++++
Parents of all grade levels at CCHS get involved with Senior Safari, the
all-night
party for seniors who have just graduated earlier in the day and have
been alumni for only a few hours. Senior Safari provides a safe, fun
time. The kids
love it and almost every one of the graduating class attends. Graduation
this year will be
Saturday, June 4, and the party will begin at 9:30 p.m. and last until 5
a.m. Sunday.
Set-up begins in earnest Friday morning, June 3. Come to the meeting in
Room A-7 on Tuesday night, March 15, from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Join a
committee to help
with food, decorating, entertainment, or organizing volunteers. There is
much to
be done but the more volunteers the less each person's task. Parents of
freshmen and
sophomores are especially welcome so that in future years there will be
experienced people helping out. For more information, contact Christine
Corr at
978-369-8479, or Kathy Hughes Morris at 978-287-0154, or by email to
cchsseniorsafari at aol.com, especially if you would like to participate
but cannot
make this meeting.
