Should the United States send troops to Darfur in order to end genocide?
What other measures could the U.S. & other countries take to solve the
conflict? Come to Jr. State on Wednesday, March 30th in H-3 from 6-7pm.
Sophomores: Class rings will go on sale all day in the cafeteria on
Thursday, March 31 and Friday, April 1. Since there will be no homeroom
before then you will need to get your ring information packets from the
main office.
Juniors, there will be another Yearbook meeting on Monday, April 4th in
S-8. Only 5 people came to the last one. If you dont come then we wont
have a 2006 Yearbook. See you in S-8 on Monday.
Attention Academic Bowlers This Thurs. is the parents meet. Come with
your parents to the Little Theater Thurs., @ 7pm. Any questions see Mr.
Atlas.
Mr. Cooprider of the Math Department will discuss the statement: "They
lied to you about how airplanes fly" on Thursday, March 31, 2005 in the
Little Theater at 2:30 - all staff and students are invited.
POETS! The English Departments annual Paula Sirois(Cer-roy) Poetry
Contest is here again. Bring your entry of 2 or 3 poems to Mrs. Cox in the
Eng. Dept. office Wed., April 13. No names on poems please youll be
assigned a number when you submit your poems.
The following students need to see Mr. Dulong today.
Max Klinoff, Rebecca Jenkinson, Sarah Landry, Luke Henesy, Andrew Hawes,
Matt Briggs, Stevie Pearl, Courtney Nelson, Ashley Hawes, Emily Larson,
Tom Abend, Eva Jellison, Jason Pan, and Hannah Braaten.
The Concord-Carlisle Scholarship application is due no later than Fri.,
April 1st. All applications must be passed into Mrs. Tessari.
Applications will not be accepted after this date.
Spectrum will be having a bake sale after school in the caf. all week with
proceeds to benefit our HIV positive sponsor child in Cambodia.
The Middlesex West Chamber of Commerce will award two scholarships to
graduating seniors at CCHS. Please see Mrs. Coleman for an application
form. Deadline is Friday, April 1.
Attention sophomores
Applications are now being accepted for the 13th Annual District 7910
Rotary Youth Leadership Awards Conference to take place June 24-June 26th.
For more information and an application see Mrs. Coleman in the main
office. Application Deadline is April 1st.
Any senior who needs a 2005 KOPLIK Application should see Mrs. McDonald in
the Guidance Department.
The parking in front of the school including around the islands and at
times on the islands themselves, has become a safety issue. The Concord
Police Department and Concord Fire Department ask that motorists obey and
respect the No Parking signs that are posted. Should an emergency occur it
is important that emergency vehicles have access and not be impeded by
illegally parked vehicles. The fine for parking in a No Parking zone is
$15.00. Thank you for your cooperation.
Please be advised that walking on the train tracks behind school is an
arrestable offense. The Concord Police will be monitoring activity on the
train tracks. Please do not walk on the tracks or you will be trespassing.
