On Wednesday, April 13, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the New Alcott Elementary

Laurel Street, Concord), the Concord Carlisle Parent Initiative (CCPI)
invites you
to come hear two Concord parents, Dr. Miriam Nelson and Dr. Christina
Economos,
describe the ways in which we can help children develop healthy
attitudes about
food, exercise, and body image. Dr. Nelson is Director of the Center for
Physical
Activity and an Associate Professor of Nutrition at the Friedman School
of Nutrition
Science and Policy at Tufts University. Dr. Economos is the Associate
Director of the
John Hancock Center for Physical Activity and Nutrition and an Associate
Professor

Raising A Teenage Boy, presented by Bill Gresser, MA, and Kelli
Kirshtein, CCHS
Counselor. This program will look at the difference between a
13-year-old eighth
grader and a 17-year-old senior and how to tailor parenting approaches.

+++++ WILLARD BUDGET PRESENTATION +++++
Save the Date: April 6, 7 p.m. in the Willard School Cafetorium
The Willard PTG invites you to hear about:
- The school budget presented by Superintendent Brenda Finn
- The Willard feasibility study presented by members of the school
committee
- The conditions and financial implications of the Willard building
presented by members of the Build Willard committee
Following the presentations there will be a tour where you can see
first hand the safety issues and substandard educational environment.
Please come and learn more before town meeting on April 26 when you
will vote on Article #24; Design Funds for a New Willard Building.
