Serious Repercussions will meet Thursday, from 2:30 - 4:00 in the band
room .
All students are reminded to turn in their, signed, 3rd quarter attendance
reports to Mrs. Merry, in the main office, by 2:05 this afternoon.
The Committee of the Secret Six will meet briefly at 2:10 in the
Principal's Office to discuss in a secretive manner who will be teaching
the Reuttgers Seminars next year. Please contact the Leader if you cannot
make it.
All those teachers applying to teach one of the two Reuttgers Seminars
next year remember that the deadline for the application to be considered
must be in to Denis Cleary of the Social Studies Department no later than
Friday, April 29 ay 2PM.
The deadline for the return of all library materials is May 14. You cannot
get your cap & gown until all materials are returned.
Is feminism still necessary in todays society? Should we strive to be
gender neutral? Come discuss feminism at Jr. State today in H-3 from 6-7.
CC Unplugged, the 1st acoustic school concert is here. Featuring FID, the

Come to a debate on abortion hosted by the Third Wing Thursday @ 2:30 in
the Little Theater. Hear both pro-life and pro-choice debators discuss the
scientific, legal and moral aspects of abortion,
A Reminder to all seniors: Please turn in your community service hours by
this Friday, April 29.
A new location for the school store is opening today after school in the
L-building by the double doors. Make sure to stop by and check us out
before you go home!
Please do not take anything of value into the gym locker rooms.
The fourth trial of the second round of the 11 Annual Moot Court
Competition will be this Friday at 2:20 in Room H-6. Noble and
Offenheiser take on Holland and O'Laughlin. All are welcome - please be
on time.
CCTV Community Production Training begins Thursday May 5th, 7-9pm in the
CCTV studio and runs Thursday nights until June 16th. Spaces are limited.
To reserve a spot email info at concordtv.org and mention "training" in the
subject line. CCTV supports people interested in producing their own
cable program of working on film production crews to cover local events.

Dance Club is going to see the Paul Taylor Dance Company on Sunday, May
22, and all are welcome. Bring $9 to Ms. Golding by 3pm on Wednesday if
you'd like to join us.
The Concord Police Department and the Concord Rotary will be sponsoring
RAD, Rape Aggression Defense systems, for females. RAD is a realistic
self-defense program teaching risk reduction and avoidance strategies,
including hands-on defense training. RAD is not a martial arts program.
This is a four-week course using simple and easy to learn techniques,
providing an effective and proven method of self-defense. RAD classes will
be held Wednesday evenings May 4, 11, 18, 25. Class times are 6:30PM to
8:45PM (approximately). Classes will be held at the old Alcott school
gymnasium, currently Thoreau school. High School females are encouraged to
participate. Class size is limited, to register or for more information

Seniors check the window in the main office for the Materials Not Returned
list. These items need to be cleared up in order to graduate.
The parking in front of the school including around the islands and at
times on the islands themselves, has become a safety issue. The Concord
Police Department and Concord Fire Department ask that motorists obey and
respect the No Parking signs that are posted. Should an emergency occur it
is important that emergency vehicles have access and not be impeded by
illegally parked vehicles. The fine for parking in a No Parking zone is
$15.00. Thank you for your cooperation.
Please be advised that walking on the train tracks behind school is an
arrestable offense. The Concord Police will be monitoring activity on the
train tracks. Please do not walk on the tracks or you will be trespassing.
