+++++ GREELEY FOUNDATION TO PRESENT THE SPELL-BINDING ZUMIX ENSEMBLES+++++

ONE NIGHT ONLY, IN CONCORD

The Dana Greeley Foundation for Peace and Justice is proud to sponsor an appearance of the ZUMIX ENSEMBLES on Friday, May 13 at 7pm, at Concord-Carlisle High School. The three ensembles - the DiverCity Band, a guitar ensemble and vocalists - are comprised of young musicians, dancers, and electronic and rhythm artists from East Boston. They present spell-binding concerts of their own compositions and choreography, meticulously executed and of striking originality. In this concert they will perform a broad program spanning an array of musical styles from pop to hip-hop, classical, reggae and more. Joining ZUMIX in this concert will be SERIOUS REPERCUSSIONS, a magnificent ensemble comprised of uncommonly talented and versatile Concord-Carlisle High School percussionists. They perform rhythms from around the world with a dazzling variety of drums and other percussion instruments.

This performance is being given for the benefit of the Dana Greeley Foundation for Peace and Justice - a donor-supported charitable foundation funding grass-roots organizations in the Greater Boston area that directly serve at-risk youth. Tickets for this performance are $20 for adults and $10 for students. They may be obtained by mail from The Greeley Foundation, 33 Bedford Street, Concord, MA 01742, by calling the office at 978-369-7386, or by e-mail at zumixevent at greeleyfoundation.org
