Attention sci-fi club members: We’re meeting today @ 2:30 in H-1.  I
forgot the discussion topic, so you’ll have to remind me.  I didn’t forget
about the pizza. T-minus 16 days until Star Wars
get me those permission
slips post-haste!

Hear some of Boston’s best new bands and support a great cause.  Come to
the concert for Darfur, Friday from 6-11pm at the Hunt Gym, 90 Stow St.
Concord.  Tickets are $17 in advance @ Minor Chord in Acton and Video
Revolution in Concord or $20 @ the door.  See Mrs. Trainor for more info.

Is filibustering a legitimate way for Democrates in the Senate to prevent
conservative judges from being nominated?  Come discuss this today from
6-7pm.

Interested in working for the Radio Station?~ Applications for next
year's~management positions at WIQH are now available.~ You don't have to
be a dj to be a manager, stop by the station and check out which
departments interest you.

The Freshman class is going to Six Flags this Saturday, May 7th.
Permission slips are due back today! Drop them off in the Main office
behind Mrs. Hammer's desk as soon as possible.  

JUNIORS:~ Prom tickets are on sale this week only.~ Tickets are 45 dollars
each in the cafeteria.~ There will be ten to a table and sign up for
seating will take place when tickets are purchased.~ Be sure to pick up
your 6 Flags permission slip when you buy your ticket.~ The Junior Class
Six Flags trip will be on June 11th.~

The Outdoor Club will be meeting tomorrow in S-29 right after school.  If
you are interested in helping to plan any trips for next year or would
like to suggest some ideas, join us for a brief meeting. 

The Thoreau School is looking for 8-10 Community Service Volunteers to
help with the Annual Cake Walk carnival, to be held at Thoreau on
Saturday, May 7th, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.~ They need student volunteers to
help with face painting, tattoo parlor, arts & crafts and more.~ They also
need anyone~who can juggle or do magic tricks. This fun work can be
applied toward Community Service hours.~ For more information, see the
flyer posted on the Main Office window, 

Attention Sophomores: the Semi is this Saturday @7:30pm, if you have other
commitments and will be later than 8pm you need to contact Mr. Hehn in the
Guidance office!	

Serious Repercussions will meet Thursday from 2:30 -4:00 PM in the band
room. Repercussionists should bring their "junk" instruments.

Anyone who is planning on being in the Spring Cabaret MUST attend a
meeting today after school in I-6 @ 3pm .  Come w/an act in mind.  If you
can not attend meeting please see Jacquie or Olivia.  There is a sign up
sheet outside I-6 for anyone interested in choreography or performing a
dance in the Cabaret.

Tryouts for cheerleading during football season will be taking place the
last two weeks of May.  
Students interested in trying out should sign up and pick up the necessary
forms during lunch in the cafe this week.  Further questions contact Kerry

TRANSCRIPT MONEY IS DUE NOW.  YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE YOUR GRADUATION
INVITATIONS OR CAP & GOWN UNLESS THIS IS PAID IN FULL.  

PLEASE INFORM  MRS. TESSARI OF YOUR FINAL DECISION OR OF ANY OTHER PLANS
THAT YOU MAY HAVE FOR THE YEAR FOLLOWING GRADUATION

Seniors check the window in the main office for the Materials Not Returned
list.   These items need to be cleared up in order to graduate.

The parking in front of the school including around the islands and at
times on the islands themselves, has become a safety issue. The Concord
Police Department and Concord Fire Department ask that motorists obey and
respect the No Parking signs that are posted. Should an emergency occur it
is important that emergency vehicles have access and not be impeded by
illegally parked vehicles. The fine for parking in a No Parking zone is
$15.00. Thank you for your cooperation. 

Please be advised that walking on the train tracks behind school is an
arrestable offense.  The Concord Police will be monitoring activity on the
train tracks.  Please do not walk on the tracks or you will be trespassing.
