*GRADUATION RECEPTION VOLUNTEERS STILL NEEDED*
Volunteers are */still/* needed for the graduation reception to be held
on June
4 immediately following graduation. This event is hosted by the junior
class.
We continue to *really need help from junior class parents* (and are
grateful for
volunteers from the sophomore and freshman parents as well). We
particularly
need volunteers to bake cookies the week of the reception or to help
clean up
after the reception. Anyone who can volunteer the day of the reception
(from
11 a.m. to 1 p.m., 1 to 3 p.m., or 3 to 5p.m.) or the week before the
reception
(picking up /storing supplies, baking), or who would like to make a
monetary
donation to the junior class to offset the cost of the reception, please
contact
Mary Ann Gorman at GormanMAnn at aol.com.
*STAFF RETIREMENT PARTY*
The Carlisle School Association will hold a Teacher and Staff Retirement
Party on Monday, June 20, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. to honor retiring Carlisle
teachers Bill Tate (Grade 5) and Ann James (Grade 5, Special Education),
and
Peg Lynch, Carlisle School Assistant to the Superintendent. The party
will be held
at Union Hall at the First Religious Society in Carlisle. Families of
current and
former students of Mr. Tate and Mrs. James and those who have worked with
Mrs. Lynch are invited to help us celebrate the careers of these dedicated,
talented, and much-loved professionals. If you are a past student of Mr.
Tate and
are interested in helping with plans to honor him at the party, please
contact
Lori Jimenez at 978-369-4703. If you are a past student of Mrs. James or
have
worked with Mrs. Lynch and are interested in helping with plans to honor
either of
them at the party, please contact Andi Gettys at 978-369-2392. Please
come to the
party! Refreshments will be provided.
