+++++ *TIME FLIES AND OTHER PLAYS ABOUT LIFE AND DEATH AT CCHS* +++++
CCHS presents Time Flies and Other Plays about Love and Death, six
absurd comedies
by David Ives. Ives' plays are famous for their absurd story lines and
witty word play. While
humorous, they are also profound, touching on themes of love, life, and
death. The six
plays are taken from two collections; All in the Timing and Time Flies,
and are being directed
by CCHS teacher Ben Kendall. Performances are on *Friday and Saturday,
June 10 and 11 at
7:30 p.m. and on Sunday, June 12 at 2:30 p.m. in the CCHS Auditorium*.
Tickets are $10 and
will be sold at the door.
+++++ *PICNIC IN THE PARK VOLUNTEERS NEEDED* +++++
Volunteers are welcome to join in making Concord's Fourth of July
celebration, Picnic in the
Park, a success. Please call Rebecca Purcell at (978) 369-5961 if you
can help with staffing
of the event. There are many opportunities, including setting upfor the
event, helping launch
the children's parade, acting as greeters at our information tent and
staffing the moonwalk, to
name a few. Volunteers are also needed to help with the Minuteman
Classic Road Race,
sponsored by the Concord Recreation Department, immediately preceding
Picnic in the Park
on July 4. Please contact Danner De Stephano at (978) 369-6460 for more
information.
Volunteering to help with these events is a great way to contribute to
this important community
celebration! Let's hear from you!
