+++++ *BANDS FUNDRAISER* +++++

The CCHS Bands are selling Innisbrook products to raise money for a trip
to Japan in
April, 2007. Innisbrook sells quality wrapping products, candies,
gourmet foods, and
banners. Individual student trip accounts will share profits from
Innisbrook sales with
the general band scholarship fund. There are three ways you can help the
instrumentalists
get to Japan. Innisbrook products may be purchased by contacting a band
student directly,
looking for our Innisbrook table at Back to School night, or shopping at
the Innisbrook
website, www.innisbrook.com. On the website, follow the prompts that
insure our
school is credited with the sale. Donations to the Japan '07 trip fund
can be made,
payable to CCHS Band, and mailed to *Mary Cheever, 74 Carroll Drive
Carlisle, 01741.

+++++ *IMPORTANT YEARBOOK INFORMATION* +++++

*Parents of the class of 2006*:
Please remember that your parent ads are due no later than next *Friday,
September 30*.
You can design your own ad, send in pictures with a sketch of an ad, or
include pictures
and have Herff Jones (our publishing company) create the ad for you.
Students will not
see parent ads until the yearbook is delivered to the school in May.

*Seniors*:
Senior Portraits and Baby Pictures are due no later than next *Friday,
September 30*. If you
had your picture taken at Anderson, you do not need to submit it--they
will submit it for you.
If you choose, baby pictures can be accompanied by text. Students often
use this space for a
meaningful quote or to list memories that have occurred over the last
few years. If you (and
your friends) are planning on designing an ad for the back of the
yearbook, these are due next
*Friday, September 30*. If you are creating a collage, you can cut and
paste pictures onto an
8x11 page and turn that page in. It will be scanned into the computer.
If you are using square
(or rectangular) pictures and want them side by side, you can just
number the photos and sketch
where you want them to go. You do not need to paste them down. If you
are using digital photos,
burn them onto a CD and again just make a sketch of what you would like
your page to look like.

to 9 p.m. to discuss
Raising Resilient Children by Robert Brooks and Sam Goldstein. CCPI has
chosen this book
because of its wide scope of information addressing issues for parents
of all ages of children.
It helps parents look at ways to bring out the best in their children
through their parenting
techniques. The book definitely supports the 40 Developmental Assets
that Concord has
established for raising healthy youth. Kathy Reticker, early childhood
specialist, will be moderating
the discussion. *RSVP: Jeaninecalabria at comcast.net*
