+++++* CCHS STRING ORCHESTRA CONCERT *+++++
The Concord-Carlisle High School String Orchestra will perform its first
concert of the year on *Wednesday, November 16 at 7:30 p.m.* *in the
CCHS Auditorium*. The orchestra, under the direction of Scott Knopf,
will perform works by Vivaldi, Mozart, Holst, and Datshkovsky. Knopf, in
his first year with the orchestra, comes to CCHS with many years of
experience as a string teacher and freelance performer. The students
have been working hard to prepare the program and are looking forward to
an exciting performance. The public is invited and admission is free.

The Second Concord Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SPEDPAC)
business meeting will be held *Wednesday, January 11, at the Ripley
School Building from 7 to 8:30 p.m.*
+++++* CCHS PARENTS' ASSOCIATION MEETING *+++++
The CCHS Parents' Association will meet *Monday night, November 14, at
7:30 in the library*. Following a brief business meeting, Mr. Pay
Pavlik, CCHS Science Department Chair, will speak on the new technology
improvements in our science classrooms. All are welcome to attend! *For

+++++* CC POOLS MILLION DOLLAR CHALLENGE CAMPAIGN **UPDATE* +++++
Just six weeks into the quest to raise $1,000,000 before December 31, C.
C. Pools, Inc. has raised over $300,000 for the Concord Carlisle
Community Swim & Health Center. The Million Dollar Challenge, issued by
an anonymous donor, will match dollar for dollar every new donation or
pledge made before *December 31, 2005*. That means all gifts go twice as
far. The Center, which is being built with private donations, will be
given to the
Town of Concord and run by the Concord Recreation Department upon
completion. Help meet the Million Dollar Challenge before the end of the
year! All donations are tax-deductible. *Checks may be sent to C. C.
Pools, Inc., 66 Commonwealth Avenue, Concord, MA 01742, or donations
charged by calling 978-371-4936*.
