ATTENTION ALL CARLISLE STUDENTS
The Caroline Hill Scholarship Application is available in the transcript
office.  Please stop by today to pick one up.  The application deadline is
April 10th.

Moot Court Teams: there will be a meeting Friday at 11:30 in Room H6.  At
least one member of each team should be there.  We will give out the first
case and the schedule.  See you there.

Serious Repercussions' meeting has been canceled.

Auditions for Select Choir this week will take place in the Auditorium
during the B, C, and D Block midterm times.   Singers free these blocks
may audition, even if they have not put their names on the list.

Come test your knowledge of all things unimportant at the 3rd Annual CCHS
Trivia Contest! Enjoy the fun by watching or participating on Friday,
February 3rd from 7:30 to 10 pm at the CCHS cafeteria.  Tickets are $6 for
students and $10 for adults and will be on sale soon.

Don't forget to come to the Summer Opportunities Fair on Monday the 30th
from 5:30-8:30 p.m. in the cafeteria.~~ Admission is free and open to all.
Refreshments will be available.~Snow date January 31st.

Captain of winter sports - team write-ups are now past due. please email
team writeups to yearbook at colonial.net THIS WEEK!

Attention all WIQH members: Sign up now to help with the Battle of the
Bands!  We need your help to make the Battle work.  A list of
opportunities, and sign up sheets, are posted at the radio station.

The Concord Conservatory of Music is looking for volunteers to help serve
food this Saturday from 6:30 pm to 10:00 p.m. Please have interested
students call Pam at (978) 369-7272 

Carlisle High School & College Students: The Caroline Hill Scholarship
Applications can be picked up at the registrars office @ CCHS, the Gleason
Public Library or the selectman’s office at the Carlisle Town Hall.  The
awards are need-based and typically range from $500-2000.  The awards are
made in late spring.  Caroline Hill left money to the town for cont.
education of Carlisle residents as well as for other financial need.  

Don't forget to come to the Summer Opportunities Fair on Monday the 30th

community service opportunities, or an adventure this summer, the fair has
something for you.~ Representatives from over 80 organizations will be on
hand to present information on traditional, specialty and sports camps,
wilderness adventures, foreign language and student exchange programs, as
well as education and enrichment opportunities.~Free goodies to celebrate
our 25th anniversary!!!~Admission is free and open to all. Refreshments
will be available.~Snow date January 31st.

The deadline for the Reflections short-story contest and the non-fiction
contest is quickly approaching!!  First prize for each contest is $250. 
Enter ASAP!  You could be the winner!  Deadline for entries is Feb. 3.
Good Luck!

Cambridge Savings Bank is offering two scholarships of $2,500 each to
college bound seniors who live in Concord or Carlisle. 
One of the scholarships will go to a student who plans to attend a four
year college and the other to a student who is applying to primarily two
year colleges.  While a B average is a general minimum requirement,
students who are below a 3.0 GPA, but have made significant improvement in
recent years will also be considered.
The deadline for submitting applications is Friday, March 3rd.  For more
information or an application, see your Guidance Counselor or the Guidance
Office Secretary.

The new date for the dodge ball tournament is Sunday, Jan 29th, still at
5pm in the upper gym.  You have until Friday to get your signup sheets in.
  Bring your sheets to Mr. McGrath or Ms. Giunta ASAP before the seats
fill up.  

Sophomore parents, save the date!
The dinner party/raffle is coming up on March 24th! Don't forget to sign
up and purchase a raffle ticket to be part of a fun filled evening with
dinner & live music and support the largest sophomore event!  This is one
of the only fundraising events the sophomore class is holding this year. 
Those interested, fill out the sheet you received in the mail. Questions
or need another sheet? Please contact LGiunta at colonial.net or
DMcgrath at colonial.net or you can look in the CCHS Newsletter for another
copy of form. Also, remember that raffle tickets can be sold to those who
cannot make the event, and anyone over the age of 18; not just sophomore
parents.  Join the fun and help the class!

CCTV is the new TV studio at CCHS! It's in I Building, down the hall from
WIQH. The studio opens at 2 PM weekdays, stop by and check it out! "Don't
just watch TV. Make TV!" 
Every Monday night at 6:30 PM the studio is open for YOUTH PRODUCTIONS.
High School students are invited to meet up with Mr. Joyce and TV producer
Charlie Stuart, and make plans for some very cool TV productions.
