Book Pals will hold it’s 2nd meeting  in the Little Theater Fri. at 2:15pm
– if you’re interested in reading to small children in a fun & spirited
way, and meeting actors who will train you to bring a children’s book
alive.

Battle of the Bands tickets are on sale in the cafeteria during lunch
blocks the rest of this week for only $10.  If the show doesn't sell out
in advance, tickets at the door will cost $12.  And don't forget Battle
T-shirts will be on sale Saturday night for $15.

Come test your knowledge of all things unimportant at the 3rd Annual CCHS
Trivia Contest Friday, February 3rd from 7:30 to 10 pm at the CCHS
cafeteria.  Tickets are $6 for students and $10 for adults and are
available the this week in the cafeteria or at the door.  Proceeds benefit
CCHS Class of 2007

CCPOPS (Concord Carlisle Patrons of Performing Students) has a new and
improved web site with up-to-date information about the Spring Musical,
BARNUM. You can find Ticket Order Forms and important information for 
parents of students involved in the musical, plus much more. Check it out
at ccpops.org

Serious Repercussions will meet today from 2:30 - 4:00 in the band room.

There will be a SADD meeting Friday @2:15 in S-27 to discuss & finalize
plans for Health Week.

Football Candidates: you must see Mr. Kerr by Friday to receive your March
weight lifting contest rules.  To stay on the active roster you need to
signup for the contest.

Cambridge Savings Bank is offering two scholarships of $2,500 each to
college bound seniors who live in Concord or Carlisle. The deadline for
submitting applications is Friday, March 3rd.  For more information or an
application, see your Guidance Counselor or the Guidance Office Secretary.

The deadline for the Reflections short-story contest and the non-fiction
contest is quickly approaching!!  First prize for each contest is $250. 
Enter ASAP!  You could be the winner!  Deadline for entries is Feb. 3.

Tuesday, February 7 at 7 pm in the Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School
Cafeteria Meet Koren Zailckas author of "Smashed: Story of a Drunken
Girlhood".  Koren will speak, answer questions and sign copies of her
book.  Koren is a graduate of Nashoba Regional High School and Syracuse
University. Her story should be of interest to students and parents of
middle and high school aged kids.  Books will be for sale at the event for
$14.70 courtesy of Porter Square Books, Cambridge. For details check

Carlisle High School & College Students: The Caroline Hill Scholarship
Applications can be picked up at the registrars office @ CCHS, the Gleason
Public Library or the selectman’s office at the Carlisle Town Hall.  The
awards are need-based and typically range from $500-2000.  The awards are
made in late spring.  Caroline Hill left money to the town for cont.
education of Carlisle residents as well as for other financial need.

Cambridge Savings Bank is offering two scholarships of $2,500 each to

One of the scholarships will go to a student who plans to attend a four
year college and the other to a student who is applying to primarily two
year colleges.  While a B average is a general minimum requirement,
students who are below a 3.0 GPA, but have made significant improvement in
recent years will also be considered.

CCTV is the new TV studio at CCHS! It's in I Building, down the hall from
WIQH. The studio opens at 2 PM weekdays, stop by and check it out! "Don't
just watch TV. Make TV!" 
Every Monday night at 6:30 PM the studio is open for YOUTH PRODUCTIONS.
High School students are invited to meet up with Mr. Joyce and TV producer
Charlie Stuart, and make plans for some very cool TV productions.
