Those students who did not receive their Program of Studies and course
selection materials in homeroom on Friday should pick them up in the main
office from Mrs. Hammer TODAY.
Seniors
The Middlesex West Chamber of Commerce has two scholarships available.
One for a Concord resident and one for a Carlisle resident. If you are
interested in pursuing a degree in business or business related field eg.
accounting, marketing, finance, etc see Mrs. Coleman in the main office
for an application form. This is a very easy application form. Deadline
is March 1.
Will Al Smith, Basil Bourque, Eric Sgro, Doug Wieand, Courtney Cronin,
Marielle Guiney, Lauren Noble and Deirdre Offenheiser please see Mr.
Cleary in the Social Studies Department as soon as possible?
The Reflections short story & non-fiction contest deadlines have been
extended to Monday February 27th. Submit NOW! Minimum length is 2500
words. Entries can be dropped off in the blue box in the library or
e-mail to reflectionsmagazine at gmail.com. Good Luck!
Join the Environmental Club on Friday from 7-9 in L08 to watch A Civil
Action, a film based on the water contamination that occurred in Woburn
during the 1980s. Addmission & snacks are free, but donations go to
Gaining Ground, a non-profit organization providing organic produce to
local shelters and food pantries.
Tonight Amnesty International will be watching Born into Brothels @ 5:30
in H-5. With POPCORN!

CCPOPS (Concord Carlisle Patrons of Performing Students) has a new and
improved web site with up-to-date information about the Spring Musical,
BARNUM. You can find Ticket Order Forms and important information for
parents of students involved in the musical, plus much more. Check it out

Tuesday, February 7 at 7 pm in the Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School
Cafeteria Meet Koren Zailckas author of "Smashed: Story of a Drunken
Girlhood". Koren will speak, answer questions and sign copies of her
book. Koren is a graduate of Nashoba Regional High School and Syracuse
University. Her story should be of interest to students and parents of
middle and high school aged kids. Books will be for sale at the event for
$14.70 courtesy of Porter Square Books, Cambridge. For details check

Carlisle High School & College Students: The Caroline Hill Scholarship
Applications can be picked up at the registrars office @ CCHS, the Gleason
Public Library or the selectmans office at the Carlisle Town Hall. The
awards are need-based and typically range from $500-2000. The awards are
made in late spring. Caroline Hill left money to the town for cont.
education of Carlisle residents as well as for other financial need.
CCTV is the new TV studio at CCHS! It's in I Building, down the hall from
WIQH. The studio opens at 2 PM weekdays, stop by and check it out! "Don't
just watch TV. Make TV!"
Every Monday night at 6:30 PM the studio is open for YOUTH PRODUCTIONS.
High School students are invited to meet up with Mr. Joyce and TV producer
Charlie Stuart, and make plans for some very cool TV productions.
