+++++*CCPI PRESENTS DEBRA HAFFNER*+++++

The Concord Carlisle Parent Initiative (CCPI) is pleased to present the 
Reverend Debra Haffner, MPH, author of /From Diapers to Dating: A 
Parents Guide to Raising Sexually Healthy Children from Birth to Middle 
School/ and/ Beyond the Big Talk: Every Parent's Guide to Raising 
Sexually Healthy Teens, From Middle School to College/.  There will be 
two opportunities to hear Ms. Haffner: for parents of middle and high 
school students, *Wednesday, March 1, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Harvey 
Wheeler Community Center*; for parents of young children and elementary 
school students, *Thursday,** March 2, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the 
Ripley Building*. Both programs led by the author will strive to 
increase parents' understanding of, and comfort in, discussing sexuality 
with their children, and provide tools and strategies for parents to 
address these issues in age-appropriate ways. Cost $5. Pre-registration

two weeks with valuable diagnostic information about their strengths and

++*GRADUATION ALL NIGHT PARTY (FORMERLY SENIOR SAFARI) PLANNING MEETING*++

If you are interested in joining in the planning and organization that 
leads to the all night party for the seniors following graduation, come 
to the meeting next *Tuesday**, February 14, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., in 
room A-8 at CCHS*. It is a lot of fun getting ready for this special 
event and your help is needed. Meet the committee chairs and find out 
what needs to be done. Parents of underclassmen must be involved this 
year so that they can lead the charge for the next couple of years.

All are welcome to attend the next general meeting of the Concord  
Carlisle Patrons of Performing Students (CCPOPS) on *Monday, February 
13, at 7 p.m. in the Band Room (A-4)* *at CCHS*. We will be discussing 
the spring musical /Barnum/ and the various volunteer opportunities for 
those interested in participating in this community event. There will 
also be information about upcoming Band, Chorus, Dance, Drama, and 
Orchestra events. Refreshments will be provided. Please *contact Diane

In the case of a delayed opening, school will begin at 8:35 a.m. instead 
of 7:35 a.m. Buses will arrive at bus stops one hour later than usual in 
the morning. Classes will end at the regular time, 2:05 p.m.
