Seniors, Saturday, March 18 is the date of our St. Patrick's Luncheon for
guests from the Carlisle and Concord Councils of Aging. Class of 2006
volunteers is needed to help set up, greet guests and serve at the event.
All students will learn Community Service hours and a Shamrock for
participating! Please sign up on the list in Mrs. Hammer's office or
contact Tess Daigle.
Attention girls soccer players: There is a brief informational meeting
today at 2:15 in the Modular Classroom outside the Upper Gym area. All
girls interested in playing soccer next year should attend.
AP sign-up start Wed., March 1st and continue until Wed. March 15th. The
cost is $82 per test. Please see Mrs. Trainor to sign-up.
There will be a meeting for all varsity, junior varsity and freshmen boys
lacrosse candidates this Friday, March 3rd in the faculty dining room
@2:30pm.
The honor roll has been posted on the window near Mrs. Trainors desk,
please check it out and if you feel your name should be on it see Mrs.
Trainor or Mr. Weinstein before March 10th. It will be going to the
newspapers March 13th.
There will be a Psychology Book & Movie Club meeting tonight @6:30 in H-2
to discuss the novel Ordinary People. All are invited.
The third trial of the first round of the 12th Annual Moot Court
Competition will take place this Wednesday, March 1 at 2:15 in Room H6.
Buonomo and Henesy will take on Correo-Clannon and Howell. All are
invited, please be on time.
The VOICE will be holding article signups this Friday, March 3rd in the
writing lab right after school for the next issue.

MULTI-CULTURAL READING GROUP! WE MUST MEET ASAP AFTER SCHOOL TODAY -- COME
TO H-14 FOR A VERY IMPORTANT QUICK MEETING!
The tale of one of the greatest showmen in American history will be
brought to life on the CCHS stage starting this weekend. BARNUM is the
musical story of Phineas Taylor Barnum and the remarkable life he led from
sideshow promoter to museum owner to politician to circus co-owner. This
will be a thrilling show, which will include acrobatic and circus
performers along with the usual actors, singers, and dancers. Don't miss
it! All performances are in the CCHS Auditorium -- Fri & Sat, March 3-4 &
10-11 at 7:30 pm; Sun, Mar 5 & 12 at 2:30 pm. Tickets are $15 at the doo,
$10 in the cafe. $10 tickets are for current CCHS students only - only ONE
ticket per student will be permitted.
There will be a softball signup meeting Wed. @ 2:30 in the faculty dining
room. Anyone interested in playing softball this spring should attend

Carlisle High School & College Students: The Caroline Hill Scholarship
Applications can be picked up at the registrars office @ CCHS, the
Gleason Public Library or the selectmans office at the Carlisle Town
Hall. The awards are need-based and typically range from $500-2000. The
awards are made in late spring. Caroline Hill left money to the town for
cont. education of Carlisle residents as well as for other financial need.
Cambridge Savings Bank is offering two scholarships of $2,500 each to
college bound seniors who live in Concord or Carlisle. One of the
scholarships will go to a student who plans to attend a four year college
and the other to a student who is applying to primarily two-year colleges.
While a B average is a general minimum requirement, students who are
below a 3.0 GPA, but have made significant improvement in recent years
will also be considered.
The deadline for submitting applications is Friday, March 3rd. For more
information or an application, see your guidance counselor or one of the
guidance secretaries.
~Sophomore parents, save the date!
The dinner party/raffle is coming up on March 24th! Don't forget to sign
up and purchase a raffle ticket to be part of a fun filled evening with
dinner & live music and support the largest sophomore event! This is one
of the only fundraising events the sophomore class is holding this year.
Those interested, fill out the sheet you received in the mail. Questions
or need another sheet? Please contact LGiunta at colonial.net or
DMcgrath at colonial.net or you can look in the CCHS Newsletter for another
copy of form. Also, remember that raffle tickets can be sold to those who
cannot make the event, and anyone over the age of 18; not just sophomore
parents. Join the fun and help the class!

CCTV is the new TV studio at CCHS! It's in I Building, down the hall from
WIQH. The studio opens at 2 PM weekdays, stop by and check it out! "Don't
just watch TV. Make TV!"
Every Monday night at 6:30 PM the studio is open for YOUTH PRODUCTIONS.
High School students are invited to meet up with Mr. Joyce and TV producer
Charlie Stuart, and make plans for some very cool TV productions.
