Freshman snow tubing is this Friday at Nashoba.~ Tickets sold in the
cafeteria during lunch blocks for $20. Buses will leave at 4:15 and return
around 8:00.~ Any questions see Mr. Miller or Mr. Pavlik.
The fourth trial of the first round of the 12th Annual Moot Court
Competition will pit Cronin and Guiney against Noble and Offenheiser today
at 2:15 in H6. All are invited, please be right on time.
Join the scifi-club today at 2:30 pm in H-12 to discuss: "Dragons and
unicorns...a chat about magical beasts." all are welcome.
There will be a boys soccer meeting for everyone interested in trying out
next season on Thurs., March 9th @2:15 in S-16.
ALL NHS CANDIDATES THERE IS A MANDATORY MEETING AT 2:15, today IN THE
LITTLE THEATER THE MEETING WILL BE BRIEF, BUT IMPORTANT ATTENDANCE WILL BE
TAKEN
Kyle Snook, a cadet at the U.S. Military Academy @ West Point, and a CCHS
graduate, will be in the Guidance Resource Center TODAY from 11:45 a.m. to
12:45 p.m. Students interested in the academy should stop by to speak
with him.
Thurs. there will be a short Tennis team meeting in S-8 @ 2:30.
Attention all sophomore, junior, and senior girls interested in playing
j.v. and varsity lacrosse, there will be a mandatory meeting this Thursday
in H-15.
The Concord-Carlisle Scholarship application is due no later then Friday,
April 1st. All applications must be passed into Mrs. Tessari.
Applications will not be accepted after this date.
The brush-up rehearsal for Barnum will begin earlier than originally
scheduled. Full cast & crew need to report to the auditorium today at
3:30 pm. We will do a straight run-through of the show with no costumes
or make-up, but using all props. Again, all cast and crew please arrive at
3:30 pm for the brush-up rehearsal today.
All students should be working on their Course Selections for next year.
They will be collected during homeroom on the 10th.
Any Freshman interested in baseball there will be a meeting Thurs. in
the Faculty Dining Room @2:30. If you can not attend please see Coach
Capone before Thurs.
There will be a mandatory meeting for all returning Girls Outdoor Track &
Field members tomorrow @ 2:15 in the H-building. Attendance will be taken.

Projects should be turned in to the cardboard box outside the Health and
Fitness office on the third floor of the library. Information packets are
available outside the Health and Fitness office and also on the CCHS web
site.
Think slavery is history? Think again. Come see Beatrice Fernando, a
former Sri Lankan slave, speak about her experiences on Tuesday, March
14th 7:00-8:00 PM at the CCHS auditorium. Admission is free. Questions?

The Concord Police Department and the Concord Rotary will be sponsoring
RAD, Rape Aggression Defense systems, for females. RAD is a realistic
self-defense program teaching risk reduction and avoidance strategies,
including hands-on defense training. RAD is not a martial arts program.
This is a four-week course using simple and easy to learn techniques,
providing an effective and proven method of self-defense. RAD classes will
be held Wednesday evenings March 15th, 29th April 5th and April 12th,
Class times are 6:30PM to 8:45PM (approximately). The first class, March
15th will be held at the Concord Police Station and the remaining classes
will be at the new Alcott school gymnasium. High School females are
encouraged to participate, for more information contact Detective Scott

The 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament is next Monday, March 13 and its your
chance to have some fun and to have your contribution support the GLBT
Community Center in their HIV/AIDS research programs. All school members
are invited to participate. Sign up in the Social Studies Office and help
put and end to Josh and Riley's trash talking! GLBT information is

There will be a mandatory meeting for everyone interested in trying out
for the golf team next fall. The meeting will be held Thursday, March 16
at 2:30 in S-26.
The honor roll has been posted on the window near Mrs. Trainors desk,
please check it out and if you feel your name should be on it see Mrs.
Trainor or Mr. Weinstein before March 10th. It will be going to the
newspapers March 13th
BARNUM is the musical story of Phineas Taylor Barnum. Performances are
Mar. 10-11 at 7:30 pm; Sun, Mar 12 at 2:30 pm. Tickets are $15 at the
door, $10 in the cafe. $10 tickets are for current CCHS students only -
only ONE ticket per student will be permitted.
AP sign-up will continue until Wed. March 15th. The cost is $82 per test
make check out to CCHS. Please see Mrs. Trainor to sign-up.
Seniors, Saturday, March 18 is the date of our St. Patrick's Luncheon for
guests from the Carlisle and Concord Councils of Aging. Class of 2006
volunteers are needed to help set up, greet guests and serve at the event.

~Sophomore parents, save the date!
The dinner party/raffle is coming up on March 24th! Don't forget to sign
up and purchase a raffle ticket to be part of a fun filled evening with
dinner & live music and support the largest sophomore event! This is one
of the only fundraising events the sophomore class is holding this year.
Those interested, fill out the sheet you received in the mail. Questions
or need another sheet? Please contact LGiunta at colonial.net or
DMcgrath at colonial.net or you can look in the CCHS Newsletter for another
copy of form. Also, remember that raffle tickets can be sold to those who
cannot make the event, and anyone over the age of 18; not just sophomore
parents. Join the fun and help the class!
CCTV is the new TV studio at CCHS! It's in I Building, down the hall from
WIQH. The studio opens at 2 PM weekdays, stop by and check it out! "Don't
just watch TV. Make TV!"
Every Monday night at 6:30 PM the studio is open for YOUTH PRODUCTIONS.
High School students are invited to meet up with Mr. Joyce and TV producer
Charlie Stuart, and make plans for some very cool TV productions.
