All Lost & Found items will be taken to Goodwill on Friday afternoon. 
Please check the Lost & Found today during your lunch block for your
missing items.

 Only 1 more day to sign up for AP’s. The cost is $82 per test - make
check out to CCHS.  See Mrs. Trainor to sign-up.

Think slavery is history? Think again. Beatrice Fernando, a former Sri
Lankan slave will speak about her experiences on Tonight from 7:00-8:00 PM
in the auditorium. Admission is free. 

Have you bought your dress for the sophomore semi or the junior or senior
prom?  If not, stop by the first-ever CCHS dress sale, in the cafeteria
during lunch blocks today & tomorrow.  You may be surprised by a dress,
and you'll certainly be surprised by the prices!

The Sports Forum will meet today in S-9 @2:15.  The main topic will be the
NCAA Tourney.  Brackets are due Wed. with a prize of 3 Celtics tickets for
the winner.

"CC's new Ultimate Frisbee Club will have it's first meeting and practice
today.  Contact Mr. Beckwith in the Math Dept. if you would like to join."

The Alliance for Teen Safety wants to hear from you about drinking and
growing up in Concord and Carlisle.  A confidential discussion with other
high school students will be held to help in the development of strategies
to reduce underage drinking in our community.  If you are willing to share
your thoughts one evening in April over pizza, please email your name and
grade to jblock at healthiercommunities.org to sign up.   The date, time and
location will be confirmed by the end of March.  Participants will be paid
$25.00.

Tickets for the All-School St. Patrick’s Day dance on the 17th will be on
sale tomorrow, cost is $10.  Just stop by the double doors to the parking
lot during lunch blocks.  

There will be a meeting for all Freshmen girls lacrosse candidates on
today March 14th, in the Faculty Dining room @2:30.

The 6th trial of the first round of the 12th annual Moot Court Competition
will take place this Thursday at 2:15 in H6.  Clemm and Lane will take on
Cross and Mazur.  All are invited.  Please be on time.

If you ordered a Battle of the Bands T shirt at the Battle, you should
stop by the radio station today to pick it up!  There are also a few
shirts available for sale for $15 to people who didn't pre-order.  The
selection is limited so come by soon.

All those juniors interested in being considered for next year's Four
School Consortium should submit their essay to Mr. Cleary in the Social
Studies Department Office by 2:10 this Friday, March 17.

There will be a meeting for all varsity & jv girl tennis candidates on
Thursday @2:15 in H-3.

There will be a meeting for new members of the girls Track & Field Team on
Wednesday @2:15 in H-5

 All ski team members - the ski team party is this Wednesday at 6:00.  See
your captains for further information.
Directions are posted on the window of H2

There will be a mandatory meeting for everyone interested in trying out
for the golf team next fall.  The meeting will be held Thursday, March 16
at 2:30 in S-26.  

Seniors, Saturday, March 18 is the date of our St. Patrick's Luncheon for
the Carlisle and Concord Councils of Aging.  Class of 2006 volunteers are
needed to help set up, greet guests and serve at the event.    Please sign
up on the list in Mrs. Hammer's

Emerson Umbrella presents E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial~(Rated PG) on Sunday
March 19 at 4 pm.~ Check out this classic on the big screen!~ Tickets are

Reminder to all teachers who would like to propose a seminar topic for the
Reuttgers Seminar next year.  Proposals are due this Friday, March 17 by
2:10 to Mr. Cleary in the Social Studies Office.

The due date for the senior wellness project for Winter Sport athletes is
this Friday, March 17
Projects should be turned in to the box outside the Health and Fitness
office on the third floor of the library.  

The Concord-Carlisle Scholarship application is due no later then Friday,
April 1st.   All applications must be passed into Mrs. Tessari.  
Applications will  not be accepted after this date.

~Sophomore parents, save the date!
The dinner party/raffle is coming up on March 24th! Don't forget to sign
up and purchase a raffle ticket to be part of a fun filled evening with
dinner & live music and support the largest sophomore event!  This is one
of the only fundraising events the sophomore class is holding this year. 
Those interested, fill out the sheet you received in the mail. Questions
or need another sheet? Please contact LGiunta at colonial.net or
DMcgrath at colonial.net or you can look in the CCHS Newsletter for another
copy of form. Also, remember that raffle tickets can be sold to those who
cannot make the event, and anyone over the age of 18; not just sophomore
parents.  Join the fun and help the class!

CCTV is the new TV studio at CCHS! It's in I Building, down the hall from
WIQH. The studio opens at 2 PM weekdays, stop by and check it out! "Don't
just watch TV. Make TV!" 
Every Monday night at 6:30 PM the studio is open for YOUTH PRODUCTIONS.
High School students are invited to meet up with Mr. Joyce and TV producer
Charlie Stuart, and make plans for some very cool TV productions. 

The Concord Police Department and the Concord Rotary will be sponsoring
RAD, Rape Aggression Defense systems, for females. RAD is a realistic
self-defense program teaching risk reduction and avoidance strategies,
including hands-on defense training. RAD is not a martial arts program.
This is a four-week course using simple and easy to learn techniques,
providing an effective and proven method of self-defense. RAD classes will
be held Wednesday evenings March 15th, 29th April 5th and April 12th,
Class times are 6:30PM to 8:45PM (approximately). The first class, March
15th will be held at the Concord Police Station and the remaining classes
will be at the new Alcott school gymnasium. High School females are
encouraged to participate, for more information contact Detective Scott
