+++++*LECTURE: HOW TO TALK TO TEENS*+++++

The Concord Carlisle High School Parent Association, in collaboration
with the Center for Parents and Teachers, is offering a special evening
with author Jenifer Marshall Lippincott. Lippincott, author of /7 Things/
/Your Teenager Won't Tell You And How To Talk About Them Anyway/, will
shed light on what these issues are. She will also offer a simple set of
rules to help parents and caregivers keep pace and peace with their
teens. Lippincott holds a master's degree in human development from
Harvard University and has worked with adolescents for more than 20
years as a teacher, dean, and consultant. The program will take place on
*Monday, March 27, from 7:30 to 9 p.m. in the CCHS library*. This
program is offered free of charge and no registration is required.
Please *call 978-202-1146* for more information.

+++++*FOCUS GROUPS: UNDERAGE DRINKING IN CONCORD*+++++

The Alliance for Teen Safety invites parents of high school students to

underage drinking in Concord and Carlisle. This information will be used
to develop strategies to reduce access to alcohol among youth in our
communities. Discussions will be held on *Tuesday, April 4, from 7:30 to
9:30 p.m. in the Hunt Gym conference room, and on Thursday, April 6,
from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the Concord Public Library's basement
conference room*. If you would like to participate, please *respond to
jblock at healthiercommunities.org
<mailto:jblock at healthiercommunities.org>*. Be sure to include which date

state, earning a gold medal rating at MICCA each of the past 13 years.
Jazz Band 'A', with all-state trumpeter David Condon and all-state

+++++*ELIMINATION RAFFLE POSTPONED*+++++

email, we will assume you would like your ticket held until the event in
the fall. Those people will be contacted now and in the fall as well.
The class will be selling tickets on an ongoing basis until this fall,
so if you are interested please check out the flyer at
*mail.colonial.net/~lgiunta/Classof2008/Raffle.html
