+++++*PANEL DISCUSSION: POST-SECONDARY TRANSITIONS*+++++

The Concord Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SPEDPAC) is 
hosting a panel discussion on post-secondary transitions *Wednesday, 
April 5, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at CCHS Little Theater*. Post-secondary 
transition issues affect all our children and greatly impact our 
children with disabilities. The panel consists of 5 professionals 
representing a 4-year college, 2-year college, the UMass Institute for 
Community Inclusion, a social worker on the 688 referral process, and a

+++++*LECTURE: HOW TO TALK TO TEENS*+++++

The Concord Carlisle High School Parent Association, in collaboration 
with the Center for Parents and Teachers, is offering a special evening 
with author Jenifer Marshall Lippincott. Lippincott, author of /7 Things/
/Your Teenager Won't Tell You And How To Talk About Them Anyway/, will 
shed light on what these issues are. She will also offer a simple set of 
rules to help parents and caregivers keep pace and peace with their 
teens. Lippincott holds a master's degree in human development from 
Harvard University and has worked with adolescents for more than 20 
years as a teacher, dean, and consultant. The program will take place on 
*Monday, March 27, from 7:30 to 9 p.m. in the CCHS library*. This 
program is offered free of charge and no registration is required.
